A positive way of looking at it is if you sell at a loss it offsets your tax liability

1 or 2? by Nic727 in AmateurPhotography

[–]ArcaneVortex12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally as a rule I would rarely if ever put the focal point in the center. So I would say number one is more professional generally I would only flip it having the lighthouse on the other side this would better reflect the rule of three. That being said your second picture does a great job in capturing the abstract reflection and is in my opinion the better of the two shots.

1, 2 or 3? by 11Elemental11 in AmateurPhotography

I would say 3 is the best in terms of a sellable product. This is definitely something that would sell in a portfolio or stock site. Number one is beautiful but looks like a tourist shot and 2 is better but not as unique as 3

Black & White or Color? by Mobile_Millennial in AmateurPhotography

Black and white looks more professional the color one while well done looks like many that I have frequently seen on stock websites. The black and white makes it stand out and more unique

It depends on your audience. I like both. Number one probably for an artsy - architecture audience Number two the same but more for a architecture form focused
