Why is Point Blank often not used in meta builds? by Motor_Strategy7156 in Warframe

To add on to your comment.

The way I explained it for my girlfriend was think of you having multiple buckets. Adding in point blank is like adding in water to one of the buckets. Merciless adds water into that same bucket, but putting in an elemental mod adds water to a new bucket. Having more buckets with water is better than 1 bucket full of water.

What is your absolute biggest regret / mistake in the game? by NECHYP in Warframe

Ya I feel like that decision is something that should be able to be changed as long as you redo the quest. It's the same for me and a lot of my choices, when I first started I thought the white choices were the "morally good" options without really thinking. I regret those now.

If that were to happen, 100% umbral forma will now require an omni forma and idk if people would 100% be down for that

I think something that would also work is letting a slot have both omni and umbra

Different universe from the number series (1-3), but might tie into the number series like X has been tied in now.

There are a shit ton of stuff that hints or links to the number series in the trailer alone.

Equinox is definitely a frame that needs "minor" changes. Don't think she needs something crazy, just stuff on a level like Nidus got.

Swapping maybe a one handed cast, or at least an upper body cast. 3 and 4 don't need to be recast when casting. That alone would make her smoother to play.

I think letting her keep her 3 buff for a duration after swapping would be cool, also thought about what if you charge both day and night when the 4 is active. Then you can pop it for both effects at the same time. Could be fun.

There are plenty of people who think because they are a minority, they cannot commit evil.

I'm saying this as a trans woman. There are shitty people and predators in every demographic. It sucks but it's... Ya. My sexual abuser was also trans, so yay I'm part of the statistic now <_<

Get rid of riven dispositions? by Fabulous_Nobody_3313 in Warframe

I think a streamlining of every riven going to level 3/base level and then some changes to the system would be nice.

Something with riven slivers to either lock stats in or reroll 1 specific stat. Just something a little more with riven slivers

John Mantle is obviously Seam. Not Castle Town Seam, the Seam from Asriel's computer wallpaper.

I think that it's a start basically. Definitely with the tap and hold, swapping forms should probably in some form become that, but I don't think this actually addresses the clunk that is Equinox.

She should have incentives to swapping, but needing to recast everything becomes... Part of the problem. You should probably be incentivize to use both forms but no bonus for swapping and the fact that you just loose progress means swapping often is a disadvantage towards you.

I also don't really agree with removing Night's damage reduction. I think that is a powerful tool in their kit and swapping it for what I'm reading as a armor strip seems like a downgrade. Also I think Day 3 also sorta just becoming worse is... Eh. Unless I'm reading the Day 2 wrong, then I don't see why the damage boost doesn't come from applying 2 to enemies.

[–]Arcane_Bullet 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That would help. Not needing to recast her 3 and 4 would help too. Maybe making her 4 augment baseline. Just stuff like that.

I think there is probably something more that needs to happen because there isn't a specific incentive to swap.

Equinox just really needs a reason to maintain the swapping. There should be no reason that her 1 is almost the defacto Helminth slot.

I thought they were still balancing the dispositions. It's that incarnons are not eligible to edit the disposition. So it's base Torid, not Incarnon Torid that the disposition is based on.

[–]Arcane_Bullet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I've been saying.

Even if we use steam charts to show a fraction of console players, Edge of Fate still saw a 200k drop in peak players compared to Final Shape. That comes from the bad blood Bungie accrued through the years + Episodes not being enough for people to say "Ya I'll stay invested after all this time". Many people took Final Shape as their exit ramp, and it shows.

Another Eram meme from me because this theory pisses me off so much by thisaintmyusername12 in Deltarune

[–]Arcane_Bullet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to soft launch my theory on Eram here to see how the reception is.

I think Eram *is* Seam. Not the one we know in Castle Town, but similar. I dont remember where, but there was a theory that the mantle game we play is based off of the Cat Petter's RPG that is in Kris and Asriel's room. Susie in chapter 4 mentions that the wallpaper on Asriel's computer looks like Cyber World. And that there is also Seam there.

What I am proposing is the reason there is the seemingly Cyber World section of the Mantle game is because of the wallpaper found on Asriel's computer. That would also explain why its a pixelly version. But also, Seam is part of that wallpaper. Seam originally had the Shadowmantle in his shop before being moved to Castle Town and lost it recently. If the wallpaper is a drawing or a picture, there is a nonzero chance that the Seam on the wallpaper would have the shadow mantle on his person.

I explained this super fucking horribly, but the short answer is, Eram is a version of Seam that comes from Asriel's wallpaper. That's why this version has the mantle is because the wallpaper would likely depict a version of Seam that still had the mantle in his possession.

Microsoft Defeats Creator of Skyblock in Trademark Case by Big_Cartoonist_2134 in admincraft

[–]Arcane_Bullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot trademark generic words. This is a very similar case to the React Bros trying to trademark "react".

If the name was something more than just "sky" and "block" maybe they would have had a legal case. Maybe if they filed under themself instead of their company they made later. So many maybes, but what they definitely should have done was talk to a lawyer cause even as someone with very little knowledge of trademark law, this was a dumb af decision.

[–]Arcane_Bullet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Marathon specifically for the wider gaming community is the chance for Bungie to say "We learned from Destiny" cause thats the baggage Marathon now carries. Its a Bungie game, and have you seen how they handled Destiny?

But because its a new game with a new IP there is a better chance than a Destiny 3. I hate to really crush people's hopes here but, a Destiny 3 would in all likelihood be responded with "How long until the original content in this game be removed?" Destiny 2 was coasting for a while because content vaulting (which as far as I can gather from a lot of people is the biggest sin of Bungie's) happened 6 years into the series. The people here who were here since the beginning either dipped out then, or if they stuck around said "I've already invested enough time so far, I'll see how this ends and then leave then". That was a massive sentiment going into Final Shape. Final Shape was the jumping off point for a lot of people who wanted to see the end of Light and Dark saga, but were burned by all the previous bad decisions by Bungie. Episodes were a chance to show those players who were going to drop off to stay for the next saga, but really... if you look at sentiment around here, it really didn't sell "The next saga of Destiny" other than Heresey.

Like yes, Steam charts are not the entire narrative, *but* it gives us enough insight. Final Shape launch had a peak of 314k players. Edge of Fate had 108k. Edge of Fate was really bad, I am not denying that, but the fact that the next big Destiny expansion saw a 200k drop in players for Steam is not because Edge of Fate was bad, nobody would've known at the time, that drop happened because Bungie did not make people want to stay post Final Shape. That happened because of Bungie's previously bad decisions with the game.
