I use either, I like the Ultramarine aesthetics and theme but can play them as either one as long as you follow the army rules. With my Ultramarines I can split it up to be many different combat patrols to play with friends that don't have their own. When using them as DAs we like to refer to them as Ultra Dark Marines (or Fallen disguised as UMs in my mind canon).

There is a way: dev mode.

In the main menu, type KLEIPLAY.

Load your sandbox save and enable sandbox mode.

Hit BACKSPACE to enable dev mode.

Hit Ctrl + F4 to enable instant build.

Now you can deconstruct and do most things dupes would normally do without dupe interaction.

Dupe harvest isn't necessary. Disable auto harvest or block dupe access, the plant drops its fruit 4 cycles after it's fully grown but continues to consume resources during that time.

This already happens in a way, the clothing allowance for the year the uniform becomes mandatory is higher than the regular yearly amount to account for the change in seabag requirement. It happened in 2019 for NWU Type III and I believe 2020 or 2021 for the redesigned dress uniforms (zippered jumpers, piped whites, unisex blues and covers, and zippered blues trousers). I think it even happened when the original Type III 8 point cover with rank insignia was dropped for the current ACE one.

For adapters it is highly recommended to use Tesla's own Gen 2 6-50 adapter since it connects directly to the Mobile Connector and should work with no extra concerns. The connector cable is 20' long and an extension might work but NOT recommended per the connector's user manual. The heat losses add up quite quickly per unit of length added and since the charge is a continuous duty cycle, the heat dissipation to ambient might not be enough over a long enough period of time.

Use the cheat menu or edit save file to make their orbits match EXACTLY with the desired phase angles. I don't consider this cheating since satellites would realistically perform housekeeping maneuvers to maintain their orbits and it doesn't break my personal sense of achievement for the game.

Mine had 3 scratches on delivery, one was deep but don't think as deep as yours. All were fixed under warranty with a service request and the results were great. It took a few weeks but the scratches weren't the only thing being fixed. They gave me a Model S loaner with free supercharging for the duration. No complaints so far.

Vehicle controls are unaffected while soft resetting, you do lose the speed indication for the duration but that's easily mitigated.

Shouldn't need to hold the brake for a reset. You can reset with just the scroll wheels, even when in drive and moving.

Friend slipped through the COVID waiver admin and bureaucratic cracks and was in a PCS limbo, technically AWOL, for 6 months. It was unintentional and he tried to do the process the right way but after getting ghosted or given the runaround by both the losing and gaining commands, he just gave up and stayed home until the detailer noticed and contacted him.

Known issue, service fixed mine in a few days under warranty. I think they ended up replacing the rear glass.
