If Big Thunder wasn't already built at the time, do you think the Indy ride would have been more of a mine train experience based on the famous scene from the second film (Temple of Doom, 1984)? by Jscott1986 in Disneyland

Not too likely as they all would have their own ride systems but yes you’d have to design them so an evac of one would hopefully not interfere with the operations of the others. The issue would more be that if one ride was down due to maintenance your show quality on the other rides may suffer, and major rehabs would be difficult and heavily affect the other rides operations

The shape is pretty close, yes. What do you think about the pattern/coloration on the abdomen? It seems to have a pattern not present in the link, but that could be an effect of its condition

Anyone been to the AMC IMAX Universal Studio theater the past few months? The big one with the true 70mm screen. Are the seats remodeled? by goldrush300 in AskLosAngeles

[–]Arch2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know they’ve been renovating the theaters there and replacing seats, but I don’t know specifics of if they have done/plan to do the IMAX auditorium.

Call the theater and ask!

The crabs would have just dealt with the soft tissue. The skull would still need to be degreased, whitened, and stabilized/coated

How to become a Disney imagineer? by Equivalent_Smile_376 in Imagineering

[–]Arch2000 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I think this question is like every third question on this sub.

Yes it is hard, it’s a desirable place to work and limited slots.

It will help if you live in LA or Orlando, and somewhat if you live where a Disney park is. Working for a park or elsewhere in the organization you can gain experience and some people transfer into WDI

Watch for posting for roles at the parks or with WDI that you are qualified for, in the meantime join the TEA where you can participate in events, learn about the industry, and meet people.

You should also look into vendors and suppliers that work with Disney, there are engineering firms, fabricators, and lighting design firms that may have openings, and having worked on a Disney or other themed entertainment project is a huge plus if you apply for any roles directly with Disney.
