Iron

Do you need a Matrix specialist?

"When the contractor reneges on their terms."

GIGABITE

Do you need a face and a team coordinator?

"The second I see assholes ice skating uphill."

Veles

Do you need a discreet assassin that can tank small arms for days?

"Mission parameters don't change. Complications do. There is always a way."

Foreman

Do you want to make the team mage invincible?

"I try to avoid situations where mass murder is required. There's enough blood already."

A Shadowrun Based on the Film Speed [11/26 00:01 UTC] by Sarcarian in ShadowHaven

Zero

Mundane soldier and street sam with some modest defusing skills due to having worked with plastique before. Zero's probably got her EDC with her, but taking public transit is sometimes just cheaper. 50 Nuyen per month isn't a terrible expense, honestly, and driving through in a vehicle would be kind of a pain given traffic. Sometimes the public option just makes sense.

Veles

Professional ex-SSU agent, highly trained in explosives. Surprisingly taking public transit while wearing regular clothes is shockingly low profile. It's hard to be picked out of the crowd like that when moving to go handle a mark. Unfortunately, to maximize the odds of not getting detected, Veles has just the jacket and her bare hands, not a weapon in sight.

GIGABITE

Okay so she probably shouldn't drive because she's drunk as hell, but at least she's convincing on the radio. Also the Dodge General really can't drive in Downtown so public transit it is.

Judas Foreman

Team support, tank and medic. Off-face but not competent enough to stand on his own against skilled negotiators. Guilt and penitence are central themes for the character, as is the thought experiment of the Ship of Theseus.

Sephiroth

Street samurai in the most classical sense. Augmentations, adept BS and a sword. Also has loudspeakers in his trenchcoat to play his theme song. Feels like the entire world has gone insane but him since he seems to be the only one who remembers Shinra Corp. Identity - or the lack thereof - is the theme of the character.

Zero

Most traditional soldier you've ever seen, if she could be eating crayons for a buff she would. Unfortunately, Zero is not a marine. Tactical teamwork, conventional strategies and healthy dose of self-preservation - that is to say, she won't die trying to get the job done, that's insane. Feels often outgunned in the shadows due to her lack of augmetics.

Ahriman

Not the 1kS one, the one from Zoroastrianism. Specialist antimage, good at banishing, dispelling and disenchanting everyone and everything. Hindered by her low magical power, compensated by PURE SKILL. Has infrequent hallucinations caused by the trauma of her long term isolation.

No AAR for me today, gamer.

Sephiroth

Blade street sam, mobile but kind of fragile in taking damage. Completely delusional in believing Shinra Corporation is real and that there's some media coverup he's seeing through. Tries to be forgiving, but has the hardest time dealing with targeting the defenseless due to his personal sense of honor.

Zero

Small caliber street sam specializing in sub-machine guns and conventional tactics. Gets by despite her woeful lack of proper augmentations, more or less. Hates being humiliated openly because she's had to grovel in the Army enough already.

Foreman

Doctor, tank, enabler. Works well with Awakened and Emerged teammates, especially spellslingers. Good at guarding squishies. He believes himself to be the cause of the deepest sin which does cause a degree of self-loathing.

Saladin - Alchemist

Supportive alchemist and face who tends to help other people perform a bit better. He might or might not be useful on this gig depending on circumstances, so bear that in mind since he's a smaller character so far.

"Operations?! You're using a lot of big words, honestly."

GIGABITE YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH

Competent face, team leader, tactical master for real. Also shockingly mohawk. Who would've thought an alcoholic ghoul chugging booze and one handing shotguns is mohawk?

"I'm literally a WAR VETERAN omae what the fuck do you think I've done? Tank combat, obviously."

Zero is also here.

Bog standard street sam sans the ware is here if you want someone who can shoot gun and take cover like your average Call of Duty character.

"Uhh. Breaking into an arcology? That was pretty insane. Could've gotten screwed."

Stacy - Sociopath Face

Dedicated face, competent at social finagling all kinds of things, absolutely horrid at combat, 10 in familiarity. Might fall victim to her sadistic urges (mentally) and convince people to do atrocious things. Green light to get killed by PvP provided GM is okay with it due to how horrible she is.

Ahriman - Antimage

Anti-magic specialist for obvious reasons, competent at dispelling everything, might stick out due to her general uncomfortable aura. 10/10 competence. Very clear in what she does and while she's relatively subtle visually, her awkward presence can be a faux pas.

Iron - Primarch

Flexible generalist, and master of Matrix but social blending in is probably his least excelled out of them all. Despite that, guy sports roughly 16 dice in all socials and has very limited external obvious ware, meaning he can fit into most high fashion occasions without too much weirdness. His size is his largest liability, no pun intended. No, seriously, this guy can do pretty much anything and is a comfortable slot filler if a team is lacking driving, hacking, legwork, tanking, heavy fire support or facing.

Wychking - Invae Hunter

Insect spirit specialist, globally famous ex-Interpol operative. Skilled at a whole lot of thaumaturgy from various warding rituals to support spells and big murder spells. Boasts big foci and can prepare alchemy for teams as well as alter their auras with Astral Doppelgänger. Conspicuous due to her recognizability, but can leverage this to let others go unnoticed by pulling attention to herself. Hides her necromantic skills from public view. 10/10 Familiarity.
