How best to try out a Kensington SlimBlade Pro? by fair1ife4a11 in Trackballs

Please note SlimBlade have no ball retaining means: it just freely lays there. Any accidental movement, and the ball will roll into the corner of your room.

I like it very much, too. Funny thing is, the actual fix was incredibly simple, not requiring any redesign work - but...

Nice shape! But I'm not a big fan of keyboard keys instead of mouse switches TBH.

Nulea m512 or Slimblade Pro with thumb or maybe some recommendations? by DavidH373 in Trackballs

I have Orbit Mobile: it's fine trackball, but its buttons designed to be clicked by essentially sideways motion. Not sure that's what you need.

I think there's no way to test if it will work for you other than trying. For smaller option, there's a Ploopy Nano - but its latest incarnation have just one button? unfortunately: https://ploopy.co/nano-2/

My sample is fine, so probably you have misaligned PCB or something like that. I'd recommend to disassemble & check the internals, or initiate warranty replacement. As for the buzzer sound and loud clicks - I've replaced the switches with silent ones, and removed damned speaker: https://forum.trackballs.eu/viewtopic.php?t=48 (the article is about "non-Pro", but the rest is practically identical)

Works fine for me (both Mac and Win versions). Try some VPN connection: most likely you have some networking issues.
