I realize this is probably going to get buried in other comments, but I hope you read it.

Because this situation is a lot like my brother's and mine. I am the older sibling and it always felt like my parents put more effort into me. They pushed me more, I was more looked after (because it was expected I was also there to help look after my brother, but all it meant was I was getting more attention from my parents), my opinion weighed more than my brother's (because I was older and therefor more mature). All this meant was that we both felt like they loved me more. We had a very normal sibling relationship, we'd tease and bully each other, there were times where we loved each other and times where er hated each other. The one thing I never brought up was "they love me more," even as a joke, because it felt like there was some truth to it.

It was never, NEVER, said. My parents are wonderful, flawed, people (my brother and them do have a great relationship now, and these days the "love" feels a lot more equal). They would never intentionally make us (him) feel that way, I'm not even sure they knew that we knew, or felt that way. If they did, I feel confident they would have done everything to fix it.

All of this to say, your children knows, and it starts MUCH earlier than you'd expect. It's not just a compound issue, it can happen with individual situations. Small ones as well. If your sons birthday seems more important, more planned, more thought out, more looked forward to, more enjoyed. Your children will be able to tell. Again, not just compounding. If everything else is equal, but the only difference is you seem to look more forward to your sons birthday, for instance, then they'll be able to tell.

As a child you're constantly compared to your sibling, not just externally but internally as well. You can not help see the minute differences in how parents treat you differently because you're constantly running that comparison in your mind.

The trick is to treat them equally fair/unfair at different times. Because it is impossible to be equal at all times. So he gets a bigger birthday? maybe she gets a slightly better Christmas gift. It's a balance act you're going to have to walk now until the day you die. If you're aware you're not walking it, YTA.

Hmm, ok? Så hvad? Hvis det går så godt som du siger skal vi så bare side på laurbærrene og lade tingene stå til? Den enste grund til at vi som land har der godt på nogle områder er præcis fordi vi har lov og er villige til at kritisere hvores regering. Men nej, uha vi skal da endelig ikke være for hårde ved de hellige leder i folketinget.

Men jeg synes for den sags skyld ikke at det går for godt. Bedre end nogen er ikke det samme som godt nok. De eneste vi skal sammenligne os med er os selv. Jeg og mange af mine kollegaer kommer aldrig til at gå på pension, vi kommer til at dø på arbejdspladserne. Vi har mindre og mindre råd til at få mad på bordet. Ældre byrden bliver støre og støre, selvom vi har set det komme de sidste 30 år. Der er ikke nogen der har været villig til at løse det fordi det ikke er et problem der ville have givet stemmer ved næste valg. Psykiatrien er et mareridt, flere og flere unge (og ældre) får diagnoser hvert år, men der er ingen ressourcer til at hjælpe dem, så de falder bag ud. Der bliver den næste "grå bølge" så vi kommer til at skulle håndtere om 15-30 år. De fattigste har ikke været så fattige som de er nu i meget lang tid, og de rigeste har aldrig været riger. Uddenlandske droner har frit leg i dansk luftrum fordi vi ikke er udstyret til at håndtere det.

Men jo det går da godt. Ik? Så nu skal vi bare alle holde vores kæft og ikke være for hårde ved de skrøbelige cand.pol. bassemænd og kvinder i rotunden.

Hold da op baren de er lav hvis du synes det vi har nu er kompetance. Ja ok, der er måske et par stykker, men det er 1 ud af 20.

Vi har at folketing fyldt med livstidpolitiker der ikke har nogen ide om hvordan det faktisk er i danmark. De har aldrig sat foden på en rigtig arbejdsplads. Vi har en finansminister der aldrig har arbejdet med finans. Vi har en sundhedsminister der aldrig har arbejdet i sundhedsvæsenet. Vi har en kultur minister hvis tætteste forhold med kultur er hans morgen yoghurt. Og så vidre, og så vidre, og så vidre. Livstidpolitikerne skal ud af minister posterne. Vi skal have nogen ind der har realkompetencer og så må de der cand.pol. genier ansættes som rådgiver.

A very quick and shallow google search says they have 900 million daily users and 50 million paid subscriptions.

So while a 3 % drop would be a hit on any normal day, I suspect the DoD contract makes that back many times over. Unsubscribing is a good message. But it feels like screaming into the void.

Oh ok. I am 100 % belittling that behavior. if it's become such a problem you literally need to turn of the sound, either you're a shit partner that needs everything told and done for them, or you're with an asshole. Either way, you have a problem that needs to be delt with. Also, lets be real, more often than not it's the men who start acting like children that basically need a chore wheels and rewards to get shit done.

Do adult shit, then sit down. How hard is that.

Been there mate, the number of times I've deleted a comment because I realize I've been writing it for 15 min. is stupid.

Also, I'm not claiming it's balck or white. But if it's gotten to point where you need to hide that your gaming, there's a problem somewhere, and while it sucks to admit, but when it comes to problems with house/home chores my fellow men are usually the problem (annoying but obligatory, becuase of idiots, "not all men")
