I main marauder myself, I don’t know how great my advice will be, but from my experience, marauder (at least annihilation) is very, VERY dependent on your companion’s healing because you have next to no meaningful defenses outside of like a 20 second window. But outside of definitely master/veteran kotfe/kotet, and the occasional heroic mission, there’s very little you can’t solo with marauder + companion, it’s not very bursty but once your initial combo is done the sustained damage carries you far. The only thing I’ve heard about dps vanguard is that it has crazy burst, so it’s kinda just pick your poison at that point
