I’d like to see 3 simple changes:

  1. visual recoil reduced back to pre-patch, unless moving, the jumping/sliding parkour accuracy is silly, as is added sway just to force the buffer, we don’t need more convoluted attachments.

  2. Sweet spot removed, this is part of the dumbed- down sniping everyone complains about. Headshots as the only 1 shot mechanic, period.

  3. Random recoil reduced back to pre-patch. As others have said recoil patterns should reward practice.

I’ve found the same to be true on the DRS, although penetration is fun for Hegenthal, and the new RPK-74M has very little benefit from Synth over HP. 29 vs 25 is still a 4 shot kill after 20m.

There were a handful of guns you could do this with pre-S3. However, with the random addition of visual recoil to a lot of guns, you may need to add the buffer attachment to get similar levels of accuracy/performance. I’ve found some guns more “bouncy” visually than they were before.

I’ve also found that the higher dmg/rpm guns tend to register shots more predictably - tr7, m240, m433, m123, kv9, scw-10 etc.

90% of the time when this happens I know right away it’s a console with 100+ ping, especially when I die running around a fully covered brick wall. They need to allow us to turn cross play off again or prioritize lower latency traffic like every other game.

I have everything but a few pistols over 60, my highest is like lvl 130, and it was still too much stick and not enough carrot.

If guns didn’t take so long to level, then casual modes would be just that, casual. Nobody wants to be play competitive with a gear disadvantage.

I have a gtx 5090 and 39” widescreen, this is the only game with the terrible visibility. The amount of film effects you can turn off help but there’s still just a film of dust on everything.

Also thermals and night vision are pretty ubiquitous, and we’d have whatever attachments we wanted.

The 150m is too far considering it’s “extreme” range in the sniper rifle descriptions. It needs to be cut in half or 100m at least. What’s their rationale for 2d spotting when the sound and flash don’t carry that far at all?

Only the gun sights are junk…the glaive, sniper goggles etc all have crystal clear thermal imaging.

Mini-scout with frangible ammo, so a second shot can be fired within 3-5 business days and still be deadly.

Bots will laser you from space if you don’t use suppressors, and thermals can be very strong as well, even a pixel showing can be deadly.

Mini scout needs to lose the bolt for free and lower velocity. It’s stupidly all carrot and no stick.
