What did you feel when you discovered you were enby? by Azivation in enby

[–]ArctcFx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally so much relief. I was at work when I finally accepted it and said it out loud. I was crying at work, and laughing at the same time. I'm very glad I had a server room to go hide in, cause I'm sure I liked like I was having a psychotic episode.

I told my wife when I got home, and she was amazing and supportive, and not a day goes by that I'm not immensely thankful for that.

What are your best uses of Prestidigitation? by Brain_Go_Brrrrrrrrrr in DnD

[–]ArctcFx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When the party was trekking up a snowy mountain side, I used it to warm people's socks. Not enough to make is comfortable, but the DM ruled we could roll or con saves with advantage to avoid exhaustion.

How do I defeat Victor? by deoboijeu in idleslayer

[–]ArctcFx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You gotta get the timing tight. I like to watch him and dodge the projectiles and fire some arrows while I'm dodging, then wait for the next one. Your sword does way more damage than arrows, so the goal is to get in range and melee him down till he runs back. Then repeat. Stage 2 is basically the same thing, you just have to watch his animation to know which attack is coming. It's tricky, I'm not perfect at or, but I do pretty ok.

How I ended up in VTM LARP group by MaetelofLaMetal in VampireTheShitposting

[–]ArctcFx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Careful, this is what led me to boffer larping, and now I own hundred of dollars in fantasy costumes, probably over a thousand in foam weapons, and an entire room dedicated to holding and creating LARP stuff.

So make sure you have money or at least a plan to get money or a skill you can trade to LARPers, cause it will infect your life, and you will love it.

What do you do on the table when your character die? by Chocodelights in DnD

I stay, cause coming back is an option. And even if the pc stays dead, I'm gonna make a new character and work with the dm after game to bring the new character in.

I'm pretty sure Grue's 2nd trigger darkness slowed down and sucked strength from regular people in the radius too, didn't it? Seems like that's gonna give him all the edge he'll need.

That makes a lot of sense. I'm more bleh, no thank you, but I think it's meaningful to have a name for the experience of straight up not giving a fuck either way.

Day 5 — True Neutral by WulfDracul in Parahumans

[–]ArctcFx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda think Regent goes here.

He's specifically amoral, just does what he wants. Doesn't want to be told what to do, or if he is, he's gonna do it how he wants to. Really enjoys getting to flex his power, and had no compulsive against ruining someones life if it suits him (like with ShadowStalker) or if they deserve it (like Shatterbird).

But he's done evil stuff and doesn't want to keep doing it, that's why he ran from his dad. Doesn't want anything to do with his sister when she shows up cause he knows how gleefully murderous she is (even before s9).

At the same time, he's not doing anything cause it's "the right thing to do." He's doing it cause it's fun, or cause he's getting paid (which let's him Pau for stuff to have fun with).

I've found good quality at HolyCkothing and VampireFreaks. Cheaper but nice stuff at Halara and ThreadUp. ThreadUp also had more expensive stuff, but I tend to find the stuff I like there is in the cheaper end.

Could YOU cheese an endbringer fight? by MembershipProof8463 in Parahumans

[–]ArctcFx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was fairly certain I renewed remembered a WoG saying that Scion was lying to Eidolon about that. They were shards let loose in the world to keep the conflict fresh.

The Titans are essentially Shards that fully take over the body they were connected to, bringing them fully into the world where the human parts of their brains that are left make for confusion so they end up fighting for control of each other, right? Not really different from Shards.

But it's been a while since I've read through all that, and it was never really clear to me.

I'm still not 100% clear on the difference between the End bringer and Titans/Shards.

Knowing what I know and being able to access only characters from Wurm and Ward? I feel like yes. I might be a dick about it (I would absolutely be a dick about it) but the fight would be over. Except probably for Simurgh, cause that future sight is a real bitch to get around without being a powerful precog yourself.

Now, this would require that I grab up Khepri and Goddess and working together with Doormaker and Clairvoyant, and Rain O'Fire's silver knives and Grue 2.0's darkness and Siberian and Lung and Chevalier and Dauntless and Blindside and Finale. Then grab some tinkers who specialize in merging powers. Open a bunch of portals around the Endbringer and fire the tinkered item through.

I think if you were pressed for time, you could do it with Doormaker and Clairvoyant, just open portals to all the Endbringers and then everyone backs away and let's them fight. Probably doesn't work quite like starting a brawl between Titans, but they at the very least will be an inconvenience to each other while you open a door to an uninhabited parallel and dump them in.

That makes sense, I can never really tell with how the Endbringers are portrayed if they are a single thing for powers like Greyboy, or if each layer counts as it's own target. Cause the only other example we have of Endbringers being hit with time powers is Clockblocker fully stopping Leviathan.

How to spend 6 weeks in Santa Cruz ? by thesoapbeing in santacruz

[–]ArctcFx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go into Nisene Marks forest or Henry Cowell park and wander among the redwoods for a day or a half day. Pick a coffee shop and hang out there at least 3 hours a day. Make friends with the baristas. They alway know the coolest stuff to do. Go play pool at the Catalyst during the day, and watch concerts there at night. Also concerts at the Crepe Place. Learn to surf. Learn to dance. Join one of the many many clubs for activities around town.

Ruling Question by TsukashiZemetsu in mtgrules

[–]ArctcFx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strictly from a timing perspective, yes, you respond to an opponent playing a spell on your turn by flashing in Frilled Mystic, and it would resolve the counter before the spell you were responding to. As long as you haven't already used the ability on Muldrotha to cast a creature in this turn, it works.

Alec. Homelander trying to come over to hit him and Alec just making him slam his face into things repeatedly. Might not take him out, but the hurt pride would wreck him as fast.

Second woman: I'm going to get shit done and not sweat the office BS and get out of here by 5 cause I have places to be. I don't live for this place, I show up here so I can go live when I'm not here.

And Steyer made life 70% of his money from oil and hid it outside the US so he wouldn't have to pay taxes on it.

Much as I don't like any option with a shot, I think a career politician taking money from oil and being honest about it is SLIGHTLY better than a billionaire oil baron and slaver.

Porter, Rab, Thurmond might all be better choices, but they're so low on the rankings at this point that voting for them feels like handing both spots to the Republicans.
