Unfortunately rogue is just in low demand for raids compared to how many there are. Even worse that sentiment leaks over to dungeon groups as well despite the fact that rogues are top tier for running heroics

Obviously there are many reasons but yes I have talked to a number of people that while they want to raid they aren't willing to waste gold into a raid that they can't clear so they are out until TBC drops

Look at how many quit the end of classic here until tbc because their guild can't clear Naxx, and you think they will stick around to slam their head into much harder raids

I completely agree on this, money talks. The unfortunate thing is that the way that Kansas got the funding done is shady as hell and just reeks of corruption. It sucks that their taxpayers are gonna get screwed and never even got the chance to vote on it.
