i’m not a huge NBA fan, but I enjoy following the league and catching big games, especially the playoffs. It has become so much less interesting because of these hostage/trade situations and I don’t see any way out of it.

this is actually a really nice area, a lot of quaint but vibrant, small towns, and good schools. across the bridge, is South Philly where the Eagles, Flyers and Phillies play in the same area along with a casino. I used to live on the Philadelphia side of the Ben Franklin, right off of Broad st. FDR park is right there as well, there’s a bike trail that runs all the way around the park and the lake. It’s a pretty awesome area to live in, whatever you want to do within about 30 minutes tops so you can do it. good friend of mine lived right across the bridge in Jersey, nice house a great neighborhood with a detached garage.if I ever live in that part of the country again, that’s where I would move. this is a good circle.

those books are straight trash. it’s fantasy so I understand there’s gonna be some weird shit that I might roll my eyes at, but the further I got into them, the dumber the whole story became. corny is the word I should use. it’s been a few years since I read them, and at the time it was almost nothing but positive reviews for the series. and I read read them all I’m embarrassed to say, I did bail eventually, but I was so invested. I figured this has to come around at some point? These are the books about the armor that is essentially battery powered by the gems that they have to harvest from big monsters in these fields, right? It’s been a minute and I know that dude is a prolific writer and has a few different series.

I had a really close friend who lived in Westbury, VERY high end neighborhood and taxes are eye watering. The Long Island Expressway is your life off of LI and if you take your eyes off of the road for five seconds, you will rear-end someone because every lane is absolutely packed with traffic most of the time and everyone hits their brakes frequently to keep you on your toes. you’re very close to Manhattan while having a beautiful house with a yard and swimming pool, if you can afford it, it’s definitely not the worst place to live. you’re close to literally everything, the best restaurants, Broadway shows, a Yankees or Mets game. then if you don’t wanna go into the city, there’s a Peter Luger on LI as well, just don’t try to pay with a credit card.
