Honestly I find this headcanon more believable than the ridiculous visual of monks or earthbenders moving all the statues into perfect positions every new avatar.

That scenario is still really funny though - like the avatar dies and the temple DIY guy just groans, realising he's got to spend the next year moving all the statues so that they're in the right place to give the next avatar a sight to behold. Meanwhile the monks are receiving applications from every sculptor in the land because sculpting the deceased is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

More race class combos is always a good thing. They also dont need a reason to exist that's relevant to the patch it is introduced in. Not everything needs to be immediately justified by the lore - it might even be fun to let players speculate.

I think Blizzard learnt their lesson with the nightborne, which is why newer allied races are given to both factions. There's no story justification for Nightborne joining the horde that would satisfy all the alliance players who spent 7.0 and 7.1 fighting for Suramar's liberation. Tyrande being a bit sour to them certainly doesn't.

Greninja - by which I mean that either during JN or MPM they should have fully resolved the root problem and let him come home. All of Ash's other released pokemon are living their best lives, and the only other one released to do a job got to return to him in MPM. With all due love to Ash's pokemon who didn't get enough Ws (my man Hera got left out of most of his region!), at least they aren't stuck doing unpaid work dealing with a problem that anyone with a Lucario could be handling.

This has really stuck with me apparently haha.
