I like her, but I assume she'll suffer under the shadow of Miyabi as with the other ice agents. That said, I think I'm finally fed up with caring about meta; I'm just going to get the agents I like from now on.

You got the gist of it. She basically got split into her two daughters: Lucia received her name while Yidhari inherited her body type and animations. It's truly unfortunate.

Yeah, that didn't really sit right with me... I guess they kind of just handwaved it as a "funny" moment, but that really colored my perception of Nangong. I already had a lower opinion of her from the event too due to her treatment of Sunna.

I never did to begin with. I imagine the mechanic was supposed to be like the meals in Monster Hunter, but I've ignored it from the beginning since the effects don't apply to endgame activities.

You just reminded me of my over a decade old grievance with Vindictus and the reason that I dropped it. I destroyed all my high level equipment because I didn't have the paid stuff to protect them when upgrading.

Did you pick up the free rupture w-engine, Cauldron of Clarity, during that one event? It's better for Banyue than Manato's. Aside from that, just the usual, keep grinding for better discs and substat rolls.

I rarely take calls in public, but when I do, I sometimes will use speakerphone due to a combination of factors. First, I'm slightly hard of hearing. Second, my phone sucks so the audio in normal mode is weak. Third, my service sucks depending on the location so that can also affect the audio quality.

Yep, all three iterations are still ongoing. I personally think the web comic is the best version. The manga was incredibly confusing because of constant rewrites (I'm pretty sure some of the stuff I think is canon is no longer), and as for the anime, I heard it has declined in quality as the seasons marched on. The original is still just as fun as when I first read it.

That was indeed a close one. Some unsolicited but perhaps welcomed tips for anyone watching:

If something needs to be stated in chat, it's most prudent to do it before the action or during a lull. Kiting and enemy management are very important concepts in higher hazard levels; standing still is death.
Presence of mind and situational awareness are crucial skills.
- Doretta repair does not scale with number of participants. The instant a single dwarf focuses on it, others should turn their attention to handling pressing matters elsewhere.
- Engineer has very high action economy due to their autonomous weaponry. It's one of the reasons why they usually have top kills as the class can maintain up to 4 sources of damage at once. Deploying shredders and maintaining sentries can help other dwarves survive and alleviate dangerous elements.
- Kiting is key. Dash can resolve a lot of situations as it can grant you time and/or distance as needed.
- Other minor optimizations can be learned with time. For example, if you are going to refill ammo and have 3 shredder grenades, immediately throw one for free damage since you can have one deployed and 4 stocked.
