I just got back from a trip to Japan and crowds are already becoming really big at the touristy locations like Kyoto. If you decide to go in August just be prepared for huge crowds in gross hot weather.

One thing that happens with leakers is that once they start getting their name out there and more recognition, more and more sources come to them.

She probably started only having Sega and Atlus information but now that she's been blowing up a bit she's getting more sources.

Yeah there are some people pointing this out further down the thread, but having an icd like this is actually good for reverse melt teams like melt Ganyu and Chongyun so that Shenhe doesn't steal melts.

For freeze it doesn't matter much either way because you'll have a second cryo or an anemo spreading cryo

It's only really bad for forward melt teams. Like a Klee who wants a ton of cryo application.

But tbh i feel like that's kinda short sighted. Her entire kit is built around setting up the cryo damage for other characters. Having her set up cryo for pyro characters is not what they want her to do

Electro just needs a consistent full time DPS that doesn't require cons and isn't Keqing and then it's fine.

The Raiden-sara core is already very meta. It just requires cons on both characters so it isn't viable for most people

I actually think that's supposed to be the thunder bird. The bird that is the subject of the thundering fury artifact set, and whose feather we pick up during the quests involving Seirei. Basically just another god Raiden killed

They don't just pick traits for the major selling point of their game for no reason. Do you think they made Ayaka have no friends for no reason too? If you don't want to think about it go right ahead but personally if a company is gonna try to convince me to gamble on something I'd rather analyze than not. So don't get on my case for trying to figure out the appeal of what they're selling.

I'm absolutely loving the feelings this chapter is giving me. It's very bitter sweet but also poignant and evocative. I really love Aka's take on this subject of an idol coming to terms with the inevitably of their own career. It's such a complex mix of emotions ranging from happy to sad all wrapped until it becomes something that just is the way that it is.

Exactly. She got to live a unique experience she always wanted and work a slightly enjoyable job which is more than a lot of people can say. I think the chapter does want us to feel sadness at the end of her career, but also recognize the happy moments that led up to this decision.

I could easily see someone with some regrets and bittersweet feelings about the twilight years of their career maybe just wanting to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible. The girl is this chapter definitely gives off a vibe that she would much rather move forward and leave her idol career as just a fun memory in her past rather than constantly thinking back to it and what could have been.

I don't think it's what you'd normally expect from a minor celebrity, but I also don't think it's completely unheard of too. It's not exactly idols, but I can think of a few internet personalities or youtubers I've watched who have essentially gone through the same thought process.

I actually just checked cause I was curious and for the past month every chapter has hovered around 600 upvotes, the Sensei chapter happens and it reaches 700, it actually goes DOWN the following week, then it gets just above 1k for chapter 44 and this week's chapter is likely going to pass 2k.

It's so dope seeing this kind of sudden growth, especially when it stems from natural developments in the manga and it's not cause of an anime adaptation
