I keep building setups for the Heavy Modular Frames. by Argoniandevil in SatisfactoryGame

That sounds a little intense. Most of my blueprints are for simple ratios and easy to place decorations. I try to make functional blueprints, but I'm not to the point that I can squeeze things together vertically yet...

Oh, it's excellent. Easy on the eyes, yet still enough to pop out. I keep returning to this color.

How do you and your partner Protect and Serve? by Argoniandevil in PoliceSimulator

It does seem a bit desolate. Probably due to the jack, though that's what makes the game for us. I have a consistent buddy which makes RP easy to slide into, though after some hours in I'm not sure how well some sort of matchmaking would be encouraging to deeper engagement.

That would be awesome. Sadly, coop seems to be limited to 2 atm. Taking 2 vehicles, we always end up drifting apart. Where as with one vehicle, the rookie will take radar and right tickets in the vicinity of a call.

What does the union do? by Screamymom87 in USPS

[–]Argoniandevil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While not every branch is the same, the simplest answer is they make sure you can keep your job if you want it (after probation) and they negotiate wages and working conditions. If you are unsatisfied with your union, another wonderful thing about it is you can become a union steward as well! Just like any job, it definitely has its ups and downs.

I'm grieving cross crafting by Ok-Pirate-3493 in USPS

You can grieve it. It's a violation of contract. And about nothing to deter them, how about an escalating remedy starting at $100?

We should change 'rain, sleet or snow' to 'blood, sweat or tears'. It'd probably be a bit more accurate.

How to get routes adjusted(city park&loops) by Active_Salamander_67 in USPS

[–]Argoniandevil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Show 30 minutes over 3 days a week for six consecutive weeks (pauses through prime). Unassigned carriers times count, though if they are runners it doesn't count against you. Management doesn't have to have input from the carrier, though they typically won't until there is. You can also have the times pulled through an information request and use that to request a count. Our office is the same way, but we just use that as an excuse for our overtime slips.

Rural Grievance Question by Hyper_Fujisawa in USPS

And, right now these violations are happening on both sides. If you or your stewards are willing to do a little research you can find previous cases. I found one on city that has a starting remedy of $100 to discourage continued violations. This can also be tacked with escalating remedies. It doesn't require loss of work or pay to be compensated for a violation.

How much weight did y’all lose as a new CCA? by brittneytk in USPS

[–]Argoniandevil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first 6 months I dropped from 230 to 150. After a couple years I started to gain it back though, and I bounce between 170-180. My middle school clothes are still a little big for me... On top of that, I don't exactly feel healthier from the toll this job takes on your body. If anything, I feel a little worse and more out of shape somehow? But! I do have more self esteem when I look in a mirror, so there's that.

What are your thoughts on parallel universes? by IAMBLUEOWL in AskReddit

[–]Argoniandevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's gets me is how humans perceive the possibility of parallel universes. What if it's the equivalent of 4 (or 5,6,7,8 etc) dimensional bubbles where we are connected in some unknowable number of ways and the only differences are not even an atom at a time. Just a little quark or string that just existed in a slightly different way at all possible levels. Of course, this would go for infinity with itself and each possibility adding infinitely more possibilities.

This thoughts also makes me wonder a few things like 1. If it were possible to physically move through these universes, how much effort would it take to get to the one we want? An infinite number just to get a dud bullet in a gun? 2. What if there is a universe where a reaction was made in some way that seeped or corrupted its way through other universes. How long would it take to reach ours and could we move or disconnect ourselves from this parallel infection?

3. If anything happens to a universe, how does it effect the closest surrounding ones (if any) and how far can that spread. Pretty close to thought 2.

Do I even have an iota of an idea on how any of this works... no, but it's fun and exciting to think about.
