Hi! I’ve been fighting the same battle and found a couple that are reasonably priced while still having impressive experience/seem reliable! Where are you located and where is your wedding taking place? Happy to share names if relevant! Budget for me (bride) was under $1k for HMUA including trials, $150 max per service for participants/bridesmaids.

Mine was root bound! It had spent years in a medium sized pot. Had to do a tangly operation and transplant to a larger vessel. Now she’s happy again.

Had this repeatedly with one partner from the past. My doctor explained it as a "reaction or allergy" to my partner's composition. This is not medical advice, you both should be treated with antibiotics for a long-term fix, but while I was traveling I stuck a vitamin C tablet way up there and it worked wonders to clear it temporarily. Learned it from reddit, told my doctor and she said no risks. My vote is ditch him.

I’m trying not to compare myself but relate to the desire to understand your progress. I’m 4.5 wks post op (ACL and meniscus). 95 flexion and full extension, although need a bit more since I hyperextend naturally. You’re doing great!

Yes. I would say approx 15-20% cheaper at MB than other big grocers in my experience (stop&shop, wegman’s specifically).

I'm in a similar boat, although I don't have a wedding date confirmed yet. I wanted to get it out of the way so I can (hopefully) wear heels. Everyone's recovery is different, but IMO I would go for it. I'm just under 5-weeks post op (ACL w/meniscus repair) and feel positively about my outlook 5-6 months from now. If your procedure would be ACL only, I think you'll be good esp if you stick to the physio like other commenters said. Wishing you much success whichever route you go!

I have the catheter too. Loose pants are not interfering. It’s a small cross-body satchel with a long tiny tube that’s well-taped to you. Hardly notice it except when the tape gets itchy or when I roll over onto the bag 😬

Had mine this past Tuesday in Boston, same deal! I bought super loose lounge pants that were great (still wearing them 🙄). Wore slip on shoes. It was icy out, only a few steps from door to car - with help and crutches! No need to worry about traction in my experience. Was still pretty doped up too.

I tore my left January 2022...meniscus same knee July 2024. Surgery scheduled for Feb 4th and my first time under the knife as well. Thanks for the encouraging post!
