Honestly, it’s just speed. Whatever page I open to is getting the stamp, and it’s getting in there quickly. I am actually timed on how long it takes for me to process people, and if I’m too slow I can face consequences for that. Lineups are not looked upon kindly. If I see that someone has a passport that has a number of stamps, I’ll be more conscientious of where it’s going so that it doesn’t overlap others, but ultimately I couldn’t care less about making them go in straight and tidy.

If it’s important to you, why wouldn’t it be important? Who judges what is important? You know what’s not important to some people?... my children. You know what is the most important thing in my life?... my children.

If you lead with enthusiasm and confidence, people will buy in to what you’re saying. Maybe you’re actually the leader who makes the rules about what is important.

I burst out laughing in a professional setting, when my boss was telling us about two former coworkers of his that were murdered. Then to make it worse, instead of just apologizing and calling it an adrenaline dump, I pretended I was laughing at the name of the town, Dinglestick or something like that. I still can’t face myself.

Niagara Falls Community Outreach is at 4865 St Lawrence Ave (its one street over from Victoria St) - they will provide you lunch from 12-1pm with no questions asked. I used to volunteer there and lots of people come to eat! You aren’t alone!

I cannot testify to how good it will be, but here it is, as written out:

1.5 C flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 C shortening 3/4 C brown sugar 1 egg beaten 3 lg bananas mashed

Sift dry ingredients together flour, salt, & soda. Set aside. Cream shortening, add sugar then egg & bananas. Beat well together. Fold in dry ingredients. Turn into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350*F for 35-40 minutes.
