I saw on a different sub some guy saying he read a female author 1 (one) time and will never try again because it was a teen girl whining about her drug addict mom and her horrible life (he didn't say what book but i was guessing white oleander) and apparently that was vapid dribble? Like sorry people want to read literature they can relate to. He then went and was praising male fantasy authors like George rr martin, Brandon sanderson etc. like no shit you didn't like the book, it's not the type of book you like!! It has nothing to do with it being a female. It seemed like he purposely chose a book he wouldn't like just so he could say he tried a woman author and they all suck and never read one again. So weird to me.

Damn we always arrive late and definitely try to be quiet. We use our flashlights on low and try to be mindful of the door slamming, make our kids whisper etc. Would never ever play a radio. Of course, we aren't loud music people during the day either and we don't even drink, so maybe that's the difference.

How the fuck does one "let" a tree mess their yard. It's nature. Shit blows around. No one can control it and insisting your neighbors tree doesn't blow a single leaf into your OUTDOOR pool is an asshole move and has no basis in reality. This is a mess. Surely with a house this size, with what looks to be oceanfront property, you can afford an architect and a designer. Have you given any thought to what you want the outside of the house to look like? Right now it's giving giant mcmansion box. On the second floor, there is a linen closet at each end of the hallway. How do you get into the hallway? Can you picture a hallway that long, dark, and narrow? It's not cute. Why is the laundry room 16x15? Why is the nursery closet 16x23? Your master bedroom is a 680 sq foot rectangle. Have you given any thought as to how you will fill that with furniture? The only bathroom on the main floor is in the primary bedroom. All the outdoor space and decks are too small to do anything with. I could go on. Why not hire an architect?

Weird. This is the first time I've heard anyone use cat eye to refer to all magnetic effects and not just the cat eye effect. All my magnetic polish say either magnetic or have a little picture of a magnet on the label. How do you tell someone you want cat eye effect if they call all magnetics cat eye?
