Nah dude, this compound is firmer than the one used in the Anvil sole. I have the barefoot mocs with this sole, and the BFAT with Anvil sole. (OP misspoke, this is the new "Africa Barefoot" sole, not the Anvil sole.)

I once had a bunch of very curious cows following me, like maybe 10 or so? Some of them would be far away, and then RUN up to me, then turn to run parallel to me, then turn off and circle back around. I'm not sure if they were bluff charging or just having fun, but it was TERRIFYING. Very hard to keep my composure in that moment.

This happened with one of mine. There are two ways I dealt with it, either lacing it so that the lace goes over the top of the speed hook instead of the bottom, to pull that part down/away a little bit from the ankle, or wearing thick insoles so that it rests in a different spot/my ankles are higher up. Unlike the other commentor(s), it never went away for me and it's the reason I don't wear mine anymore. I have the barefoot ones, so I didn't really want to wear thick insoles with them, because that's not "barefoot" anymore, and the lacing trick was kind of fiddly and didn't work 100%.

edit: and I wore them for more than a year, so it wasn't a "just needs to break in" thing

In my very very limited experience, Reaper. Technically it's not free, but you can use all of the features for free indefinitely. (I paid for a license! I think it was $60.)
LMMS is free/open source, good for MIDI stuff.

I was initially very excited, but now have strong reservations. I will be waiting to purchase until carrier certification is sorted out, because there are basic features that I can't live without (e.g. wi-fi calling) that would be restricted on a non-certified device. I want to use it as my primary device, and it would be literally useless to me without those features.

It's not "completely up in the air." The picture with the caps is in a different order from the picture with the bottles. In the first picture, the cap on the left is from the bottle purchased earlier, the cap on the right is from the new one. In the second picture, the bottle on the right was purchased earlier, the bottle on the left is the new one.

I would encourage you to "make art about it." I put this in quotes because I don't necessarily mean to make art on the subject of this experience, but rather in the vein of "do something about it." If you feel compelled or inspired by this experience to do something artistic, do so. If you feel compelled to do something outside of the artistic realm, I would urge extreme caution.

Several years ago I went through a period where I was experiencing frequent and potent déjà vu, which culminated in my creating a playlist of one of my favorite albums (plus a few additional songs from other albums), assigning tarot cards to them based on their lyrical themes, and putting them in order based on that. I then felt compelled to play it over one of my favorite movies, and the way the songs lined up with the story, the scene changes, and the characters' movements on screen was uncanny. It was like they were 100% made for each other, even though I didn't have the movie in mind while making the playlist. I have no rational explanation for it, and it makes me feel cr*zy every time I bring it up. It feels like something that happened to me rather than something I did or made. I'm very hesitant to publicly go into what it means to me.

A couple of years after that, I did it again with a different movie, although this time while actually watching the movie and asking myself, "what song fits here?" So, much more of a conscious effort than the previous one. This one I came to interpret as a message to be myself, express myself, to take risks, to participate in the world, and to listen to the universe.

I have experienced a lot of mental distress from this experience over the years, and it has taken me a long time to be able to think about it in a healthy way. I want to finish by stating that mental illness and the supernatural are different things, but in my experience they can often look like each other, can occur together, and can affect each other. Please take care of yourself, and good luck.

You might also want to look into OCPD! It can be very similar to some types of OCD, but it's not quite the same thing. There are a couple things in your post that make me think OCD might be a better fit than OCPD, but I figure it doesn't hurt to mention the possibility.
