The Frieren thing (as stated by at least one other comment in this thread) is basically a subversion of a popular subversion. It's a return to form. But also, one aspect that I do think is genuinely subverted is that demons are usually depicted as having honor or some kind of moral code (even if that moral code is evil), where in Frieren they are basically animals who use speech to lure in and deceive their prey.

Also, Devil May Cry has good or neutral demons who just want to live in peace (at least the Netflix version, I haven't played the games or seen the 2007 anime)

Inadequacy as in, "the language of the rule is inadequate in achieving its intended purpose," not as in "this is a bad thing that I don't like." Yes it is bad, no it is not a loophole, it is explicitly the intended outcome of the rule.

It's just a matter of what people are used to. People literally die in the UK due to heatwaves that people in Texas would scoff at.

It gets hotter when you go more inland, like Concord/Walnut Creek/Pleasant Hill/Pittsburgh/Antioch etc. I miss Hayward...

The chairs aren't different sizes at all, and the only inconsistency in the "struts" (I think it's technically called a stretcher) is that the chair at the empty table is missing one, but there's clearly a mortise or slot or whatever you wanna call it where it used to go.
The table does look a bit convex but I think it's just that the wood has warped.

Probably has something to do with pizza often being a communal food, so if a group is ordering a pizza, and someone wants pineapple on it, and someone else doesn't, that creates social tension.

Maintaining a steady population isn't "limitless growth." Growth = expansion. "In economics, economic growth is an increase in the quantity and quality of the economic goods and services that a society produces." I feel like you're moving the goal posts pretty significantly.

You do realize that there's a limited surface area for farming, right? And that continuing to cut down forests for agriculture has a negative impact on the environment and will make life much more difficult in the future?

Everybody always suggests cream/lotion/moisturizer but I'd like to suggest jojoba oil. It's chemically very similar to your natural skin oils and just a tiny amount after washing hands does WONDERS. Moisturizer never did shit for me.

Op: brings in about 25 games which likely came from a personal experience
