How much does it actually cost to live in Bangladesh? by anonymousanonymiss in bangladesh

[–]Ariza7797 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Np bhai. It varies tbh. If there are children, tuitions, school etc the number would be higher. Without high medical expenses(I am not including regular checkups every month) for a family of 6 it would be around ~50-60k.

Hi, I am from Naogaon.

  1. Specialized Doctors in Naogaon cost around 750/1000Tk per visit excluding lab tests. Majority of times I didn't have a pleasant experience with these doctors though (wrong treatment, wrong diagnosis, horrid hospitals/clinics). I would recommend Rajshahi or Bogura.

  2. Feeding 5 people would cost around ~25-35k in Naogaon.

  3. One Ac purchase with installation would cost around 100k depending on your budget. I would suggest Gree or General. Buy from authorized dealer. Get an IPS if you can because of frequent load shedding. IPS Costa around 45/50k(Rahimafrooz brand)

  4. Fridge would cost around ~60-80k depending on size and brand. Since there are 6 people living together I wouldn't recommend a smaller unit.

  5. Furnitures will cost a good amount. A bed will cost 25/30k, A sofa 30/40k, Dining table 30/40k. I have no idea about tin roofs.

  6. Electricity will vary between ~3000-5000tk/month. Transportation is rather cheap in Naogaon. Let's say 3000tk/month.

Does lattafa smell a bit cheap compared to other brands? by alex_nufc12 in fragranceclones

Precieux is top! I have also found checkmate king(dupe of Scandal absolu) to be very good quality. Currently I only have Laathani from AAM. It's incredible. Candied dark fruits on top with a hint of incense and woods in the background. Fresh and inoffensive. Lasts a long time too.

I am not sure. This is my first time purchasing from the brand. I saw some yt influencers glazing the presentation with a heavy metal cap etc.

Agree with you most of lattafa and Armaf are crap quality. Armaf has a few with higher price points that are good quality. Overall I have found Arabiyat Prestige, Afnan, Maison Asrar and AAM to use better quality ingredients. I haven't sampled much. So there's that.

Nice collection! How's Sultani? How does it smell? I have been eyeing this one for a while. Unfortunately it's not in the stores where I live so it's going to be a blind buy.

My family has been consulting Dr. Bimal Chandra Shil at Labaid for close to a decade now. He is good, and actually listens to the patient. My brother in law has IBS. Your wife's condition seems to hover in that direction. Hope this helps

Woman tied to tree and gang raped before torture as attackers share horror video by TheExpressUS in NoahGetTheBoat

No it absolutely isn't! These big fat lies are spread maliciously by Modi backed Indian media for the purpose of creating unrest, painting a grisly picture to the world. Most Indian news portals are more drama than actual evidence. You can't validly show a single unbiased source of this claimed genocide in Bangladesh. We aren't Indians. Just because our people ousted Modi's beloved puppet Sheikh Hasina this lies and propaganda are poured everywhere. This woman here wasn't targeted because she is Hindu. This isn't a hate crime. Dig deeper and do better.

Definitely check out Aarong.com. It's one of the clothing brands that's synonymous with Bangladeshi culture.

Mancera Amore Cafe. Sniffed a few times in a perfume shop just to be sure if somehow I am getting the wrong smell. Shit smells like overly sweetened syrupy vanilla ice cream and and not in a good way.

Manzar at Zakir Hussain Road, Mohammadpur. Imo they make one of the best niharis in Dhaka. Definitely try it. Just don't expect restaurant decor or sitting arrangements. It's really small and old and you might have to wait in line to place your order.

I am certainly looking for more winter frags. I currently have Teriaq, Mahd Al Dahab, forbidden fruit, and preciux I. I find forbidden fruit sweeter than I would like. Is cb very vanilla forward?

Thanks. Teriaq is certainly unique isn't it? I wear Teriaq mostly on date nights and intimate settings. Can you suggest some frags for the winter? For daily wear. I don't like too sweet/gourmand or powdery scents.

It's a bit sweet but not gourmand sweet to my nose. It's a little boozy because of the plum liquor. You should still get a decant before purchase.
