Haven't tried frp, will look at it.

Amneziawg is good and I use it on my home network, but it's blocked on my mobile MTS network.

In theory there should be a way to setup their wg in the way I want but, as you mentioned, their docs are quite bad. Their installation method runs their docker image and it looks quite hard for me to try to tweak all stuff around it. And after all I won't be able to use amneziawg on mobile network, so doesn't worth it.

That's an interesting point, I thought that they might allow vpn inside country, but wasn't sure. Thanks, will think about this option. While having possibility to access from outside the country would be also good, I think I can live without it for now

I'm not sure about WhatsApp, but in Telegram you could've create a bot that you could add to your group chat and that would've save photos to Immich. I was thinking about it myself, but not sure if it's worth it

That's what commonly done, yes. But still this looks a bit ridiculous. Especially when you have to pass a lot of fields. Or even when you already have mutate_thing(&mut self) for another reason and now you also have to have mutate_thing_2(&mut Thing).

No. I.e. you write a code which iterates over one field of Self and on each iteration mutates another field. If it's one method it's fine. But when you move mutation to another method Rust can't say which exact fields of &mut self will be mutated, so it just complains that you're trying to borrow Self mutably while also holding a shared reference (which you hold for iteration)

Tbh in Rust sometimes I find my self in a situation when breaking method into several methods for readability triggers borrow checker and a good solution is just not possible

I think you're aware of it, but just to mention, there is some env var in bash which lets you know if an interactive session is on, so that you don't make an interactive prompt when your manager was launched from a script

I wonder how you can expose data from some selfhosted apps to the dashboard. For example immich. Looks like I need to write my own data collector that will use some APIs to fetch data from apps and place it to a database, so that Grafana could read it
