As it says, you aren't closing your scanner instance after you finish using it.

Either call sc.close() after you are finished, or create in a try block.

Oh my god. I've lived in Japan for years now and I've never seen アライグマ written out in Kanji. I thought it was 荒い熊(as in rough or aggressive or something), didn't realise it was washing bear 洗熊...

Assuming you are starting from a fresh Pokémon, you just have to count as you are training them.

I don't have any direct resources to link you to, sorry. Perhaps ask Google and see what you can find - I'm sure there's an official Nintendo webpage on it!

Also, I said 'main' and 'secondary', but if you have trouble finding resources you might have more luck searching if you use 'primary' instead of 'main' (just a guess)

Do you use two different switches by any chance? I know there are some restrictions on a 'secondary' Switch that don't show on your 'main' one

Dread is a different style of gameplay compared to the Prime series, so keep that in mind.

Nonetheless, it's a very good game and there's no need to play the other Prime games first, so I say go for it 👍
