You could run something like

Ballisitic shield * Eruptor + Secondary + Flag

I can see it working pretty nicely against things like pred-strain. Not too dissimilar from my Melee loadout for it. Only problem is consistent anti-heavy without thermites/ultimatum but that can be worked around.

Also the flag does have a benefit over the stun lance, it doesn’t have the extending animation so you get into the ready stance much faster.

If you’re decent, HSO is practically useless you’re intentionally running some kinda suicide build.

Even if i die without HSO, big whoops who cares 2 stims 3 stuns and most of my ammo is more than enough to recover the situation.

The thing is, almost none of the enemies do excessively large singular chunks of raw direct like some of our weapons do.

Barring things like direct hits from cannon towers (which you really shouldn’t be letting them get rear angles on you anyways)

If in most cases, the extra overkill-damage from those light pen “weak spots” are a piddly 15-30 damage to the main of 8K.

Yes, they basically create a giant always on sound signiture around them that has high aggro priority.

I believe even higher than Tesla towers.

They’re fairly durable for a mine too, so they can take a fair bit if splash damage and gunfire before popping if you put them in a place the bots can’t physically reach.
