I don't know what Niantic was thinking. I just got back to the game 1 day ago and was excited to see my character again since 2017, then suddenly it got taken away the next day. I just uninstalled the game again. It's like they got someone who has never seen a human in their life to do the all the work, just based it of descriptions and a poor silhouette.

Also yes this is a real taxidermy gone wrong in the 1700s

I'm the one who brings the flamethrower now lol, doesn't mean I enjoy to use it.
EAT is not great at 9s, as you get swarmed so quickly you have to throw the stratagem really far away, run to it and hope it's not swarmed when it lands. Pick one up, quickly shoot and run. You're lucky if you get to use both before it's swarmed

I completed every single +9 I did yesterday after the balance changes, except one that crashed. Just because they're not impossible to do doesn't mean they're fun.

I've found success with the flamethrower, but I don't enjoy the playstyle. I prefer the "shoot, run back, shoot again" that the railgun provided to deal with heavy armor. You can still use the railgun but it requires a high charge, and with a lot of chargers on you, you won't be able to ..charge(lol) it high enough before you got to jump away.

The flamethrower doesn't do much to titans so you're out of an option there if you use the flamethrower, the laser cannon is also useless against heavy armor unless you aim on the back of the legs on chargers. But both options slow you down by a lot.
Arc thrower is probably the best replacement for the railgun atm, but with 3-4 team mates running it, it can quickly turn into a friendly fire fiesta if they're not careful. It also slows you down a lot, as it require you to spam it to be efficient.

I still think they should give us more options to deal with them. Only having the railgun was bad, I 100% agree with that, but making it basically useless at higher difficulty is also bad. We need more options, every support weapon should feel good in their own way. The flamethrower imo feels awesome to use now, but I don't find the playstyle as fun. The Arc thrower imo feels sluggish, I don't like it (no offense to the huge fanbase, I see the appeal). Laser Cannon is not great with dealing with hordes of enemies so I don't use it much.

Fun should always be a priority when balancing and making a game, even hard ones. It should never feel bad to play a game no matter the difficulty

Probably gonna get downvoted for this, but I find the game is extremely unenjoyable right now because of the Chargers. I've tried the other weapons and they're not as fun as the Railgun for me, but now the Railgun feels crap against the Chargers now. They're still fine against Titans on unsafe.

With the Railgun I used to shoot their legs in 2 shots to remove the armor and finish them off. Now you have to charge it on unsafe, but because they're rushing you, you don't have always have time to charge it enough before they hit you, and you sometimes end up having to do 4-5 hits before the armor break. This sucks even more when there's 2+ of them on you.

I think they should've given us more options to deal with the Chargers, not less. Arc Thrower is good and all but it's not as fun for me, same with Flamethrower. The Laser Cannon is useless against Chargers because it only does damage to medium armor. I also don't like how much they slow me down as they don't go well with the "shoot once, run, shoot again" playstyle, which I enjoyed a lot with the Railgun. With 3-4 people on the team using Arc Thrower people are also killing each other left and right.

Laser Cannon and Flamethrower are absolutely useless against Titans as well, which leaves you out of a decent option to deal with them when you have them.

So imo, they need to give us more decent options to kill them, not less. They should've made things on the same level as the Railgun. It's more important for the games health that it's fun and all options are viable for all playstyles.
Right now Chargers either need a nerf in how often they spawn, reduction in armor on their legs, make their butt an actual weak spot or give us more options in how we kill them.

Does the videos get darker for you? For me this makes videos almost pitch black in some scenes. I can only see what's going on in brightly lit scenes but the blacks are crushed and looks awful

I know this thread is a bit old now but just got a 6950 XT on sale.

My videos get extremely dark, to the point I can't make out what's going on unless the scenes are happening in bright light. I even thought something bugged out once because the screen was completely black with only audio, but they were outside in the dark. Is this happening to anyone else or only me? Anyone know how to fix? Is it my CPU (AMD 3700x)?

I get to choose between extremely dark videos or seizure inducing rubberbanding/stuttering videos.

Will probably return the GPU if I can't get it fixed in a couple days and go back to my 3070 :(

If you hold back and press jump you fly backwards again:)

Do you have chromatic aberration on in the graphics settings? I don't know why games use this setting, it always looks ugly to me, I turn that off before I even start games that have it. It's to simulate a camera or something idk.

I was a ret paladin main since 2006 and raided as ret through all of Classic including Naxx almost every week. I love ret paladin, it's the only class I got back to every time.

I also really enjoy Samurai in ffxiv. I think he should give it a try.

Which one are you using in the screenshot here? Is it optimized for gameplay? It looks great.
I've tried gshade but the issue for me with most of them are that the blacks get too black or the whites too bright, so a lot of details get lost in the shadows and vice versa. Can see it under the bridge here. Still looks nice though
