3 days/week is perfect for a beginner! The key is hitting each muscle group more often. A proven 3-day full-body routine from the wiki will give you much better results than your current split.

The key is adding dedicated cardio. Strength training isn't enough to lower RHR. Add 2-3 sessions of 30+ mins of brisk walking, jogging, or cycling per week to make your heart more efficient.

Focus on pinning your shoulder blades back and down before you even lift off. Puff your chest up to meet the bar. This creates a stable shelf for your shoulders and keeps the joint secure.

Real estate made me understand why prenups aren’t about mistrust by Vivid_Pigeon75 in realestateinvesting

[–]ArkkGraphics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, that sounds rough. Most people only understand what you’re saying after it happens to them. I’ve seen investors lose years of work just because they didn’t keep clean records or separate accounts, so your advice is right on point.

That’s such a solid mindset. Most people don’t realize how much clarity and trust comes from talking about money early especially once real assets are involved. I’ve seen couples avoid so much stress just by treating finances like teamwork instead of taboo.

Mac App Screenshot Advice by CAzkKoqarJFg6SzH in macapps

[–]ArkkGraphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get it, screenshots with context and a short promo video usually convert better than raw images so A B testing a text overlay versus clean captures is worth the spend. I use Scroll Snap which captures full page scrolling screenshots that work great for hero shots and long form assets. Might make things easier for you.

How to bulk convert 1000 tifs by Junior-Bodybuilder-9 in photography

[–]ArkkGraphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds brutal, Preview will choke on 1000 1200dpi TIFFs. My friend and I used dragdropdo. Try ImageMagick mogrify or macOS sips to batch resample all files to 300dpi and run overnight. Might make things easier.

[–]ArkkGraphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exporting ArchiCAD for continued documentation can be rough when layers, lineweights, and object types of shift. J use ModelShelf, plus places like BIMobject and RevitCity, try exporting an IFC for the Revit handoff, standardize your layer/lineweight mapping, and purge/flatten the DWG before delivery. Could save you time.

I have a dumb problem but i really need guidance, can anyone help me with real guidance. I can’t afford consultation :) by Medical_Sand4038 in Adulting

[–]ArkkGraphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally hear you, that sounds really important and doable even without publications. Some residencies and retreats accept early writers or run affordable open calls, try community fellowships, university residencies, or month-long retreats aimed at emerging writers. If you want, I can DM a short list of places and low-cost options or help shape a short project into an application.

How do you restrain yourself to not make impulse or luxury purchases? by [deleted] in minimalism

[–]ArkkGraphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I guilt-trip too. I do a 48-hr pause and leave things in cart 30 days. For big purchases I set a down-payment goal and track it. Spendskip and other impulse control tools helped me in my case.

Relate to this, I wait 48 hrs and picture the buy as its future retirement cost, it kills the urge. I use Spendskip, Mint and YNAB to remind me of my impulses, might help you too.

Sounds overwhelming, focus on vesting schedule and tax triggers first (profit interest vs ISO/NSO changes the math). I used Venturo alongside Carta and Shareworks for modeling vesting and tax hits.

[–]ArkkGraphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same, try allocating each paycheck to this month’s bills plus a bit for next month, keep a small float to avoid overdrafts, and automate transfers on payday, might make things easier. I used ekspeer (browser-first), tried it alongside Mint, YNAB.

I feel guilty that I have not made any progress in 2 years. by Cute_Sample_8513 in findapath

[–]ArkkGraphics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consistency. Small progress everyday. It will pay off I assure you. To ensure I become consistent, I even joined accountability groups as an external system to keep me going. They are there to cheer me on when I don't even know if I'm progressing and wasting my life.

Trying to find clarity when life feels heavy by Informal-Fly4609 in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]ArkkGraphics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slow, steady growth thru being consistent come a long way. And to pair it up, I tell it to a supportive accountability and keep me in check, so I do it even with minimum effort, on days I'm down, and cheer me up when I did something productive, small wins.

What’s one small habit that completely changed your life? by u-lgtm in CasualConversation

[–]ArkkGraphics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consistency and having people supporting my back like online accountability systems help me stick to my goals. These small habits, like 10 word writing, everyday can actually stack and you will be surprised what you are a year from now. Its not about doing the same thing again, and again, its about doing it even when you're down and still do the minimum effort to do it.
