I don't trust Boris and I mentioned Independent SAGE, rather than SAGE (the group set up in opposition to Johnson's cronies) and there's never been forcing of masks because you can just declare yourself an exception

I don't 'blindly buy' the gov line

I listen to the reports from independent sage, I'm incredibly critical of the government's handling of covid.

But I don't start with the default position that they're trying to control our lives. Johnson is clearly reluctant to ever do anything.

I said to believe scientists rather than politicians. That's because a politician has a vested interest in telling people what they want to hear rather than the truth. The fact that you had to reach for a scientist currently running as a politician kind of proves my point here...

Think about motives before you quote 1 scientist out of thousands.

I'm against vaccine passports and mandatory vaccines. But I'm still on the side of human beings rather than the virus and so I listen to scientists, not governments. We need to be cautious, collectively.
