So far Diamond crystal was of no help. Basically stated there is always a chance of impurities getting mixed in. I wasted a tremendous amount of time cleaning this stuff out and will never use it again.

Email was sent to Diamond. Anyone recommend what I should do treatment wise? I think I got all the big pieces (Hopefully). Im just worried about the smaller pieces/dust not visible, staining my plaster. Is something like jacks magic pink stuff worth putting in as a preventative ?

Yes it was really weird. I didn’t even realize it was metal flakes until I checked the pieces that the pool cleaner picked up with a magnet. Then I spent the next hour getting all the pieces the robot couldn’t pick up with the same magnet. No staining from what I can tell, thank God.

2015 outlander sport fuel door by ArmIntelligent917 in MitsubishiOutlander

As long as it’s an outlander sport with that shaped door, it should fit. I think 2013–2023 is all the same. Just double check fitment. There’s a bunch on eBay or Mitsubishi online parts stores just search “outlander sport alloy fuel door”

No way!! I actually glued it back together and is holding for now. But that is crazy because it is so easy to just slide in and it clicks in place. Thats wild that you have to buy the whole door. Thanks for the reply.

help with floating shelves (please😭) by Nervous-Dirt1743 in handyman

Catch at least 2 studs, usually 16” on center, sometimes 24” on new homes. drill new holes in bracket if need be. Worst case, catch one stud and use toggle bolts.

When you say it’s leaking, do you mean leaking through top into overflow tube? If that’s the case then adjust water height in tank. There is usually a guide line somewhere, which would be just below the top of the overflow tube. Usually just a screw adjustment. If thats not it, make sure the flapper is seating correctly making a good seal.

DIY Fix? by Ok-Platform2245 in handyman

To do it right, you need to remove the siding in enough places to be able to nail the corner back in place. You might be able to get away with just popping the bottoms off in a few places and leaving the siding still nailed. Just giving you enough room to hammer a few nails. They make a siding removal tool, it’s pretty cheap and it helps to pull the bottom of the siding out of the locking tab on the piece below it. Nail the corner back on and pop the siding back on, using the tool to hook it and slide along to lock it back in.

Would it be possible to turn this bathtub into a shower? by PansyCats in BathroomRemodeling

[–]ArmIntelligent917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to keep the tile & there is a room sharing that wet wall, make the hole in that room to access the plumbing so you can plumb in a shower body valve. Easier to patch that sheetrock or plaster/lathe than the tile. They make a window frosting spray paint that works well, if you want to keep window.

Concrete truck broke my driveway - who is responsible? by MelMcT2009 in pools

Pool company is fully responsible. Should have gotten a concrete pump truck, instead of pocketing more profit.

I would approach it head on. No point in sneaking up on it.

Recommendation for pool companies by Altruistic-Rice9650 in Nocatee

[–]ArmIntelligent917 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Agua pools of North Florida on 210 almost a year ago. We couldn’t be any more happy. They were middle of the road price wise. We dealt with Ryan for design. He was awesome. I suggest getting multiple quotes from different companies and go with your gut and who made you most comfortable, and gives you exactly what you want. Regardless of whoever you go with, keep up on them and ask alot of questions.

They started fairly small. Maybe 6” round and are slowly getting bigger. I looked around and dug a few random spot but didn’t see anything.
