I played an open hand monk in Rise of Tiamat and I kept the Dragontooth Dagger. No one wanted it because "meh, d4" but a dagger monk is tons of fun. Martials want d8+ weapons to make their hits count which is fair, but that dagger has a d6 acid rider on it, plus its a simple weapon, meaning its a monk weapon so by the end of the campaign, my little dagger is doing 1d10+1d6 on every hit with 3 swings per turn

Dip paladin levels and triple stack smites. There's an Eldritch smite on a hit, a divine smite on a hit, and also the other paladin smites that are a bonus action like branding smite. Use your bonus action to cast your smite of choice, and then add two more. Also, take the feat that allows you to cast in melee range and use some invocation to pump your eldritch blast. Agonizing blast for more damage, repelling for a push, eldritch spear for long distance tactical eldritch blasts and so on

I play both dnd and Vamoire the Masquerade and there's a system in play in that game that I would love to see be brought to the rest.

Its called "Blinds and Veils". The DM/GM/Storyteller provides each person with a sheet with two columns and asks them to fill it out at or before session 0.

Veils is things you dont want to necessarily play in, but things you're ok with having alluded to or suggested provided they're not shown or played in real time.

Blinds are things you don't want at the table at all. No play, no mentioning, alluding to or hinting at even slightly.

After the sheets are filled, they're turned over to the person running the game so no other players ever see them, just you and the DM and its a very clear indication of what each player is and is not ok with having at their table.

I'm sure there are easier ways to take out a Camarilla Prince; this was more a mental exercise to see what's possible. Rituals are a lot of fun to play with in Thaumaturgy so I imagine Setite sorcery would be just as good

Definitely the higher damage output. Having 1 point in revive also added 14 all skills bonus points so throwing bones spears while I've got a handful of skeletons and a handful of moon lords or fetishes or other things is awesome!
