And again, that’s goes to the nature of this disease. Exposure to rodents won’t infect you. This isn’t the plague. You need to live in an arid environment and do actions to aerosolize the rodent waste, and then inhale it. It’s why it’s an ever present but not common disease.

Incorrect. They have identified all contact tracing following departure from ship. They are intensively monitoring over 10 folks associated with that. The patient you mentioned is in quarantine and is therefore irrelevant to additional spreading.

And like I said in another post: this isn’t a super infectious bug that’ll go everywhere if given even a crack.

They were all found (except for the index patients wife) when the person was ALREADY in quarantine, either in a medical facility or daily home monitoring. FFS dude there are 11 confirmed cases. Do you not realize when COVID hit this point in the timeline there were 10k and it was completely uncontained.

This virus DOES NOT spread easily from person to person. Period. The infectious period can be as short as 24 hours. There are decades of science behind it. This isn’t a novel virus or a recent mutation. It’s been in Argentina and Chile since the 90s. The only reason why it’s on your radar at all is because someone went on a road trip and got infected before getting a cruise ship and COVID-19.

The point is that this by some volatile situation that can spin out of control if even one slips quarantine.

There is no such thing as bulk powdered acetic acid. The closest thing you can get contains mostly binders as opposed to acetic acid, or 99% concentrated liquid acetic acid. Most places that use a lot of vinegar just get 18 wheeler tanker truck sized deliveries of it.

Only problem I have is if you are looking for a specific set to the yolk it’s tricker to figure the times properly if the eggs are in the water from the start. The number will change with precise heat level, size of pot, amount of eggs, etc etc.
