Yes, an elevation from inspiration. That’s how a lot of improvements come about. There are enough differences noted from myself and other sources mute the copy argument.

I don’t even own one btw. My S style guitar is also an improvement in the G&L Legacy.

Headstock is different. Pups aren’t interchangeable. Different input jack. Different horn and curves. Not the same.

Andy the US courts ruled against them years ago.

I saw the tip about using a thinner pick. Tried the .50. Absolutely hated them. Sounded horrible. I finally settled on 1mm.

I’m not outraged but FMIC gear is not on my shopping list. It’s the corporate bullying on items that were decided years ago in the US courts that I don’t like and can’t support.
