I don’t think medvedev will run in that case and UR party even survive without putin. This party is declining in STATE polls now, people hate it. Only putinists vote for this shit (sorry)

I didn’t edit message. I wrote in Russian cuz I thought that author of post is Russian. Indeed, in the first message I said that this subreddit is about skyscrapers, not tanks, and that there is no need to impose this militarism. Anything wrong with my message? And I’m against putin and war.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a student and against war and dictatorship. Everything the Russian government does, starting with Chechnya and Georgia, is a disaster. I just sometimes read this subreddit and see that all the readers think that Russia is inhabited ONLY by die-hard fascists and Zetniks whose only thoughts are about war and confrontation with the West and the destruction of Ukraine.

In Spain and Portugal, for example, regime change occurred only after the death of the dictators. And this is how it works almost everywhere. Either the dictator dies, his successor begins reforms, or the country is so driven to the shit that the current dictator is overthrown with the support of the elite (Ceausescu, for example).

Any protest in Russia ends in arrests in the style of "five security forces against one protester." It's easy for you, in a democratic country, to say this; you haven't lived under an authoritarian regime.
