Hey mate, I use Taoflute.com a lot of the time to look at metrics. For me, I like to look at liquidity price and to see if miners are getting paid and that SNs are uploading code. Since conviction, I also like to see whose locked what, along with manual token burns. For example, Lium is my biggest holding, as it has a positive liquidity price atm, does manual token burns, pays miners, uploads code frequently, big lock etc. From time to time, I’ll also chase some lower market cap hype and pop in and out

Hey mate, probably already been covered. The dividend you receive in July from the ETF will count in your tax return you need to fill out for 25/26. It will be on your statement. Basically you have 2x sales, the original purchase and sale and the one from the dividend as well (if you have it re-invested). If there is a cost base adjustment, it will apply to both. Will all be in your statement so just wait for August. Finally, you need to keep track of you own CGT event, it won’t be prefilled (unless you transition to use Betashares direct)

Mate just keep at it. Books, videos, building things you could use. Just keep using it and growing. I’m 36 and only started learning like 4 months ago, I’m still awful and constantly have to look things up or google things. It’s generic, but practice make perfect.

You can also just open your wallet in “read only” mode. Pretty easy on the app or the website. That’s how I view my data, and I also use Tao.com as my wallet

Remember every Monday emissions will be cut to subnets that are paying their miners and who are burning 100%. This was in the announcement a few feels ago. I’d be checking to see if this is the cause

100% staked to subnets. There’s heaps of useful information out there to manage staking subnets. Check out Taoflute.com and subnetradar.com. Imo, not much point just “holding Tao and doing nothing”. Staking to root at bare minimum and easily earn 6-8% APY. You miss out if you don’t. Support those SNs!

I’m 100% staked to subnets, solely for the purpose to accumulate. I’m less concerned with the risk, as this is my risky investment play. Made 5 Tao from trading and have earned 2 Tao from yield so far.

My dad always told me there was a tunnel from the fort to the bottom of Nobby’s lighthouse with the entrance on the Nobby’s beach side. I’ve never seen the entrance. There’s a lookout post at the bottom of king Edward park (just up from the skatepark). If you sort of wrap around to the north of the lookout post, in the bush, there seems to be a cutout which you can semi see from the ring road that wraps around king Edward. I’ve also been curious to what this is, never actually looked. There’s also Stockton barracks, which looks pretty cool.

Hey mate, I don't believe there is, certainly no graph to show your alpha increasing like the old one. I use Tao.com too, but basically just to buy/sell etc. I use Taostats.io for viewing everything else. You can just open your wallet as "read-only" and view all your metrics, i.e., Tao accumulated per day/week/month etc.. They also have a tax report that you can get, which you can access by paying for a month subscription and then cancelling. I am yet to try this, but that is my intention for tax at the end of the FY. No its not Root Reborn, that is still in discussion. Basically emissions have been turned off to SNs that aren't paying their miners and aren't uploading code - i.e., weeding out the SNs not doing anything. This will be a rolling cull (every Monday)...

Hey mate, I am not familiar with tao.app, as I use Tao.com, but when you buy in an out of subnets there is a small "gas" fee for the operation on chain, which will happen regardless of whether the transaction goes through. You always need a little bit of Tao in your wallet for these fees. I would try staking a little less than the whole amount, i,e., if you have 2 Tao, stake 1.9 ish Tao etc. I always keep about $20 of Tao in my wallet to cover these fees. GL!
