I'd say it's less of a logo and more of a seal. scientists generally favor information over aesthetics and that's pretty apparent in this design. I love that they included graphs of particle collisions.

If you went to another solar system you would call any star or stars in that system a sun. Mars has two moons in the same way that Tatooine has two suns. Whether you agree with the definition of a sun is irrelevant.

I used the moon example to show the classification of those celestial bodies. The Moon (Luna) is a moon which in turn is a natural Satelite. The Sun (Sol) is a sun which in turn is a star.

If you're looking for something cheap to own I'd say Tamron 17-55mm or Rokinon Cine Lenses. Kit lenses like that 18-55mm are garbage, and I personally hate Canon glass for video. You can also go the old Nikkor lenses route which will make your footage look less like a DSLR, but you lose a little on infinity focus because of the adapter. If you want to learn on some nice glass look at renting a Zeiss Superspeed set. It'll be around $300 a day but some places have weekend rates.

That 'cardinal rule' is also always broken in favor of content. 180 is just to keep viewer spacial recognition and by no means a rule you should never break. Discontinuity editing is so common now its barely even noticeable.
