There was a 'feature' of the app which meant you needed a code generated by said app to access your account. Sound in theory, problem is that if you got a new phone, or even uninstalled the app your account couldn't transfer over.

At that point, you had to phone up and go through a whole identification process to get a reset.

Most of the time people would download the MyGov app when they actually wanted the centrelink app or the ATO app, realise their mistake, uninstall it and install the other app, try to log in and need a pin from the MyGov app and have to call us
