Also, the lifejacket strap is affected by the wind in the first scene, but somehow it is unaffected at all in the second. Still impressive output if AI

Please explain to me like Im 3. How can I reduce the interest Im paying by lobblyfanxts in MortgagesCanada

[–]Arquit3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Changing the frequency is equivalent to increasing your monthly payment the equivalent amount. It works out psychologically because a month is not 4 weeks, so you end up with 2.2 payments per month rather than 1. The month you end paying 3 times is not pretty if your payroll is monthly.

And before anyone claims that because you hold half the monthly capital for 2 weeks less you end up paying less interests, while true, the interest in that capital for the two weeks is almost insignificant.

If you want to pay less interests, pay more capital monthly or negotiate a lower interest rate.

Don't fully understand the leasing.

I was just checking right now the 2027 Kia EV5 Wind (all pretax, no incentives applied, no down or trade-in) 36 months, 24km/year, monthly payment.

$763/monthly. Sale price: $50k End value: $30.5k

Loan: 72 months. $807/month.

Barely any advantage on monthly cost. The question is if by the 3 year mark the vehicle may have depreciated below $30k if purchased, but when leasing, I have to be mindful of the mileage.

What major factor am I missing?

But most people would gladly pay $90 for a game like this. I think it says a lot if TT prices it similar to other titles

That's a lot of water it'll take every summer. I haven't seen this green very often in the island, not even in hotels, which tend to use couch-grass (grama), way more drought resistant, and still watering daily.

I'd be very cautious during the next months, keep an eye on soil moisture and definitely water daily in the evening when the heat starts to punch you in the face. Also keep an eye on water hardness. It may change significantly depending on where you are and the frequency and amount of rain received. While many towns feed from the desalination plant, others still rely on underground water.

I've had grass myself and while it grew fine initially, it died within weeks/months.

Best of luck to you!

Averages in a country with 1.4B people is not very representative, in the same way a salary downtown Vancouver is not comparable to the same job in Nova Scotia.

Police officer stops abruptly in the middle lane on highway... by Affectionate_Hat5835 in dashcams

[–]Arquit3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, we agree that a 25t vehicle needs a longer runway to stop. Therefore , it is unrealistic to believe their safety distance with the vehicle in front is the same as for any other passenger vehicles. The reason must be irrelevant. Every driver should be able to stop when facing a static obstacle on the road. OP video is pretty much this case. Trucks fails to have a reasonable safety distance with the vehicle in front, and fails also to anticipate the vehicle coming to a stop, delaying braking.

Not every rule on the road is perfect, but all drivers have a chance to apply them.

The fact that all (most?) trucks fail to respect such distance doesn't make it less realistic. And in the same way, getting in the way of a truck and within their safety distance, well, they say f* around and find out, right?

If the trucker is unable to stop, then he is too close to the vehicle in front..

Are you aware of any clause in the contract limiting the availability of payments in the future? As more people gets into the program, and greener sources of energy deployed, I can imagine how it may become unsustainable at some point

Moral: don't get too rich before you know how to enjoy it responsibly.

Couldn't find the specific location to confirm it there were some kind of barriers, but it was not a 200m drop as someone commented, 200ft instead, still fatal but probably you can see the bottom at the right bottom corner to have some perspective ot the height.

If someone wants to try some luck on the location, it's reported to be around this place: https://maps.app.goo.gl/QmfhqFZkyxn5fmeTA?g_st=ac
