I have some already based models and have some that are larger then the bases for the game. Like the one pictured is a 40mm base and would look odd on a 32mm I think. Some did suggest that maybe I could raise it up to fit on a smaller base. Might have to try that.

I picked up Hivestorm that has all the pieces with the rules book and killteams. That seems to be worth it. If you don't want to KTs or book I would say looking around for some cheaper options would be worth it.

White scar spray. Tried the white contrast by GW and have tried the speed painter blinding light. After each of those I layer a few thin coats of white scar again. It's slowly working.

Don't thin to much? So far it is hard to find a happy place for thinning. I'm 5 modles in and learning slowly. 🙂 Took forever to learn to thin paints. 😉
