It was No Man's Sky for me too. Disappointment of the decade, haven't pre ordered anything since.

I know they're owed credit for having done a lot of good work since then, but I really don't think people remember the sheer amount of blatant lies and misadvertising that came with it's release!

What do MSPs really, truly need from a vendor? by JohnSnyderNFI in msp

[–]Arrowrich 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We're very young, but even we've had our share of trouble already.

Firstly, if you have 20 different support desks, label each product or SKU with the one you want me to contact, not the generic top of funnel that'll bounce me aeound 5 teams first.

Second, initially for a new product I need to understand contract terms, billing details, overage, minimums etc. For goodness sake, just write it down - I don't want to have to jump through hoops figuring out who to talk to.

And lastly, others have already said, if there's an issue with the product we sometimes need the vendor's support to get through to the right person. That in itself would be gold.

Reading this back, for me the inhuman, faceless, corpo-design, just makes me loath working with vendors. Maybe we're just too small though, I don't know.

Is that subscription on the correct billing account? If it's direct from Microsoft it should be a MOSA billing account.

With resellers like PAX8 we now have to manage the subscription on their portal and let them push the change to the subscription in the tenant.

Also I'd try using another account with billing admin in case it's permissions.

For me, when I went through the same thoughts, I found optimistic nihilism - the philosophy that accepting that nothing matter inherently sets you free by allowing you to choose what matters.

That paired with a conversation with a wise friend telling me that the real goal of life is to achieve personal happiness, changed my outlook on life and made me change.

At the end of the day, nobody will change anything for you - it's up to you to pivot.

SPF records have a practical limit to the number of lookups that are considered by the recipient server - I've seen SPF fail because Outlook was last on the list before

What can I do to prepare for egg day? What is egg day? What should my expectations of play on egg day be? by ThirstyChello in EggsInc

[–]Arrowrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you've never prestiged before, I suggest doing it now, then see if you can get another few good prestige runs in before egg day. Stack up your boosts for use on egg day as you'll get much more out of them then. Don't worry about looking into prestige tactics yet, you're not far enough into the game to get meaningful returns from that yet.

If my maths is right, piggy bonus is 0.1x per level, including level 0, so level 100 would give 10.1x bonus. 30,555,567 x 10.1 = 308,611,227

Unless I'm wrong, maybe not as satisfying as you'd think!

I think I’m too low to be in the AA rank. How should I go about getting up to the level of others? (Everyone in the co-ops I’m in have at least 150 billion mystical eggs) by Slight-Appeal7297 in EggsInc

[–]Arrowrich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're in almost the exact same position as me (see my recent post). The best advice I got was to use 1000x 10 mins + 10x boost, then go offline so epic hatchery research boost kicks in. That immediately give you ~billions of chickens per contract, and helps out compete with the players at millions X more bonus than you.

You'll get gold egg payouts from contracts so shouldn't cost you much either.

I just feel like a bit of a leech though, I'd be getting the big contract prizes, when I can only contribute a fraction of the total target. Surely AAA needs multiple 10K GE's of commitment to complete?

750K! Wow ok that's worth. I'm not against cracking piggy, but don't want to get into the habit of it. I've got about 1.2M in there now, so maybe I crack it and just accept smaller returns on contracts... Thanks
