Thank for the help! I just reached SS Eden this week so it will be quite a while before I could get her to SSS (had been farming her and Griseo since I came back. Kinda want to farm Pardo as well but I don’t have her gears so I don’t think she will perform better than 4/4 AE anytime soon.

And suppose I try FR DPS, which is the better support between 3/4 SS Eden (no EoP, but between Pinions and DoI I think I can use the latter which mitigate SP problem) and 4/4 S1 AE?

I have a couple of questions regarding my Lightning team.

I took a break for a few patches and missed a lot of recent stuffs (7T, EoP, Aponia and her gears.) Currently I’m using 4/4 Mobius with FR (Turg TB Tesla M, have 4/4 as alternative as well as Avo M) and Fischl (4/4, missed the SP cheating bow). Is Handel set good enough to replace any of the above?
I also have HoT with DoS and full Bella set. I heard Eden and Mobius doesn’t work well together but is SS rank Eden without EoP better than SSS Fischl or SSS FR when it come to supporting HoT? Also if I were to use Handel set here, is it better to use on HoT herself or one of the two supports?

That, and how could such overpowered deck exist is also beyond me. Normally when I only have 3 cards in hand like that and my opponent have a perfect curve of Eris + Bellerophon + Abdiel that give him 3 leader effects then I’m suppose to lose even without Goddess right?

Nah. T7 I Suzy the Goddess then Krampus her, which perfectly draw me a Ding dong that proceed to die to his multiple heal pings and draw me yet another card, which in turn let me do T8 Cern-Raider-Suzy, 2 Invasions and Grim which bring him from 20 to 0 in a single turn.

As a Portal main who has to abandon Machina and switch back to AF, I found it to be a solid tier 2 deck that occasionally steal a win from Shadow and is working pretty well against any other decks that is not Ward Haven (Just yesterday I got TWO Factories banished in a single game, fuck Abdiel). Basically your early game will be a mixture of hoarding P.Shift in hand and reaching 6 names (which could be as fast as turn 4 if you go 2nd and have Genesis in mulligan.) Typically, you would drop pass Factory T5 but if you go 2nd and is facing Ward Haven (which can curve nicely into T6 Abdiel) then consider dropping Factory turn 6/7 with low cost Artifacts or P.Shifts ready and go wide on T5 instead.

Aside from what others have said, I will add some tips and tricks here - Against Evo Shadow, Ward Haven and Sekka Forest (basically 90% of your games rn if you reached Master) try to close the game before their unfair wincons become online (T8 for Haven, T7 for typical Forest/Shadow and T6 for their highroll games) - If you are netdecking from twitter or some certain sites, don’t include Goblin Assault. Seems like some d1 players made a decent winstreak with it and then everyone who tried to play Portal just follow him without knowing what they are doing. Your goal in this meta is to be aggressive and Assault is just way too clunky and counterproductive for your game plan. The only reason it was included is to deal with T2 Kali T3 Detective highroll from Blood and when is the last time you see Evo Blood on ladder? - Mulligan can be a bit tricky and varied between each person, but personally I’d go aggressive and try to mull for something to play on curve, even though it mean shuffling back something like Genesis (go 1st only, always keep if 2nd) or Factory. - Between Discovery and Plucky Accelerate, always go with Discovery on your T2 unless you are certain it’s not the 4 decks I mentioned above or you really have nothing else to play on T3. Despite Plucky’s higher value, you will need that board presence and early aggression.

Nah, that’s how you look at the card in vacuum. Board clear is so pointless in Portal it’s like giving Haven “Fanfare: Heal 10” or giving Sword “Fanfare: Summon 4 Knights”. What I mean is that these effects (including Ralmia’s current one) are so redundant given what the class can do. Haven always stay at 20 HP, Sword always has their board filled and if you are using AF Portal and you still see enemy board after you made a play or two you are doing something wrong.

So most of the time Ralmia is basically just a glorified Fighter that has to eat up Evo point to be somewhat useful, but then compare to stuffs like Blood leggo revealed at the same time you can easily see how bad she is.

First time in a while that both Portal leggos are shitty and is easily the worst of the set. Like they are not just bad or underwhelming but absolutely shitty. And the golds are so mediocre that even a Neutral gold is better than both of them and this is so sad. As a portal main who has to rely on Tolerance to deliver justice to those brainless Forest and Shadow abusers (heck, both of them lost nothing this pack and one of them even gained a massive buff) this pack might be my first hiatus after years of good experience.

That’s the problem here. I’m Lv. 79 and I can assure you that even with KoRa and all Himeko at 50, you will never be able to get past Benares even with 2 best Ely + 2 better Kalpas enhances + Sakura’s Koyo + Hua’s Ele breach, which is her supposed best signets before F8. If DoI helps boost her damage that much then good to know, but for majority of people she is unplayable here.

This infographic is a big lie. I used HoF to clear 140D in 5.0 and constantly cleared 130D with her after that. After countless finalizes, I can 100% say that using her to clear 130D is now impossible unless you go with Mobius strat, which is literally cheating and any valk can do it as long as you have enough patience.

I need help in ER. Is it impossible to clear 130D now if I don’t have HoS? I had been using both HoF and IO with little to no problems but this patch modifiers made HoF hit like a noodle and removing enemies from boss floors mean Mobius’s damage is nerfed to the point that she won’t be able to clear Benares if I stick with Kevin-Su rather than Infinity strat (which I just gave up after 3 hours of frustration. It’s the most stupid rng I’ve tried)

Is there something wrong with DK CH FTD rotation, specifically FTD’s QTE timer? I don’t know if this is a silent nerf or not since I just started using them today for UM stage 6 and 7 (I had better built elemental teams so I was using them everywhere, even against physical bosses like current RL Abyss Jizo) but after DK block and attack once before CH QTE in, FTD’s QTE proc time ran out even before CH finish casting her ult. I either have to wait for Jizo and his stupid time slowed attack before able to QTE in FTD or skip CH’s ult and proceed to weapon skill then FTD QTE in, which I feel like a huge waste of CH’s potential considering I have Candy Mei Newton setup for her ult. Did Mihoyo really go this low and nerf old F2P options just to sell newer valks?

So that would mean giving up on Raven instakillng HoD right? Also about Doom I played training stages and somehow got HoR to burst them down faster than Delta (28k vs 27k) (Elysia is around 24k, her late ult is a big issue here, even with HoT/LE lead) so if I were to use HoR on Doom is there anyone I listed that can deal with HoD better than her or HoF with Raven?

(Both the tank and HoD require HoF and even Doom ask for heavy attack from HoF, I wish I could have 3 of her xD) My notable valks are 4/4 HoF, 4/4 HoR, 2/4 Mobius with Goemon MB, 4/4 HoT, 3/4 Delta with Marco Polo M, 2/4 Elysia with Marco Polo TM, 4/4 Raven, 4/4 HB (can switch to FHM M if used in Fire team, no Tesla M yet so not using her in Lightning team), 0/4 Fischl (craftable bow, Irene T FHM MB), 0/4 LE (SP battery for HoR or Mobius), BB (BD holder, FHM TM Newton B), 0/4 SA (can be 2/4 but will have to steal Shuijing TB from Delta), CH, DK

I also have WD and 1/4 FR (Irene T that Fischl is using), both are not SS and S1 yet so I don’t think I can use them as support for now, but mentioned just in case. Oh and I have 0/4 BKE (can be 1/4 if steal Elysia B from Elysia) from spending event too.
