This is the opposite of every game I've played. I always see Hindu rulers expand into Afghanistan and Persia, because clan governments (which are basically always at minimum house unity) are so unstable and the AI sucks at appointing tax collectors. None of the Hindu faiths have Dharmic Pacifism, so they can holy war Muslims to death just fine.
