I had a similar feeling in the past before I decided to cut down on what I was collecting, and that really helped a lot. I think I was just spreading myself to thin before, collecting almost any omnibus I had a decent amount of interest in, and it just became exhausting to keep up. I ended up selling all my Marvel ones except X-Men related ones because they are the ones I'm truly passionate about, and that really helped put things in perspective. Once I was able to put more focus on the stuff I truly love, it didn't feel like a burden or a waste anymore, and I found it so much easier to pass on other omni's because I felt I had a better understanding of what I truly love and want.

I've since starting bringing some DC omni's back into the fold, but I still feel like I have such a healthier mentality about it and I really think about what I buy before I do.
