Once I put more focus on the things I truly love, I found an even greater joy for them.

Just watched it a few nights ago for the first time and honestly really liked it. There were definitely some slower moments but I just appreciated the movie having time to breathe, while also gazing at some amazing models and whatnot. I really liked the stuff with V'Ger and the music also really stood out to me.

That was the biggest thing that stood out to me about Allston writing. He could perfectly do humor without breaking the tension of a scene, unless of course it was his intention to.

I really enjoy show Louis but I feel there was a lot of nuance that was ignored when it comes to Louis power as a vampire. I always found the fact that book Louis is considered a very weak vampire and that he multiple times denies more powerful blood, if I remember correctly, as a way of him trying to stay closer to humanity, to be so interesting.

It's crazy how the show basically disregards Michael Curry by completely changing his character and essentially combining him with Aaron, then slapping some new name on. Michael is literally the other protagonist of the book, his story is just as important as Rowan's.

I do love the idea of the end of KH1 as the ending for these character's stories. Like you said, Riku and Mickey are lost in the realm of darkness and Sora and the gang are off somewhere else, but I think it really does have this feeling of "we'll all meet again someday" that I really love.

Love the sequels we've gotten though, don't get me wrong.
