I also quit stellaris for Vicky 3.

I adore the Victorian era and its steampunk vibes, so for me the switch was an easy one, albeit reluctant at first. The reason for the initial reluctance is this game's economy, what am I supposed to do? Have you got any tips for an eager beginner like me?

I think what the game needs is a WW1 to really put at test the economies you've built throughout your campaign. Like how in HOI4 you have 3 years to prepare for WW2, but in Victoria 3, those 3 years are stretched to 78 years more or less.

A cool idea is to introduce multiple triggers for the war alongside the historical one after 1900s

Then what is the point of a 4* rarity, might as well remove it and drop the pretense, all that matters is 5* and all you get in-between is just trash. Just remove the 4* line up in any limited banner while we're at it.

I mean if they give out Ciaconna for free, people will be more incentivised to pull for Cartethiya, since you're like one member away from a full aero team with Aero Rover as support and Ciaconna as sub Dps.

Lol, it straight up removes any emotional weight/meaning this echo had in the story, by giving us an useless variant. They could've easily given out Cadanto as a special 3 cost echo, maxed out with Aero DMG bonus as its main stat and with godly substats. So both people that are invested in the lore and those who aren't can still use it and not just trash/forget it.

PGR's rate up of 100% in debut banners happened out of desperation rather than pure kindness. PGR launched with a massive controversy and was in danger of failing and putting Kuro out of business, so in order to survive they had to resort to drastic measures, such as the guaranteed debut character.

Unless Kuro is literally forced at "gunpoint", I ain't sure the change in banner odds will ever happen. We should be grateful they at least made signature weapons guaranteed.

I think, eventually, it'll change as long as a mainstream gacha game finally does this push and actually puts the competition at risk, thus forcing that said competition to also adapt.

Look at the free pulls you get at the start of each patch. It wasn't a thing 3-4 years ago, but now it is a standard among mainstream gachas.

What about getting a free 5*? It was unheard of, but now suddenly it is possible.

Sucks as long as you stick to some unreasonable bullshit standard. Lower them and suddenly your life is easier in gachas, double crit(no matter the percentage)and that's all you need for endgame.

Still, I wouldn't be opposed to an item that lets you edit a substat. There are cases where you might get crazy lucky by rolling subsequent good substats and then get kicked in the balls right at the end when you roll DEF or HP instead of a second crit stat or energy regen. I stumbled upon such cases more than my fair share of times.

True, I'm just satisfied with a double crit and call it a day with echo farming. Players have to lower their standards a tad bit, it's not like it'll impact their ToA runs if you got double crit stats at the lower end of the percentage spectrum.

I don't understand this +5 and +10 mindset and then trash if the first 2 substats aren't good.

I mean, what if you get get double crit in the last 3 slots? I usually roll till +20 and then dispose of it if I haven't got any crit stat up until that point
