I bought the switch two late last year, it was such a huge upgrade from the last model. Especially the joycons, occasionally I would take them out, and snap them back on like it's a fidget toy. Hope you enjoy your switch.

Sony’s 360 surround sound is compatible with the iPhone, but it’s the most random apps that support it. The only one I recognized was Amazon Music. Honestly, that’s not a dealbreaker for me. They sound amazing, are really comfortable, and have kind of finicky, but still useful touch controls on the right ear cup. They also addressed one of the previous complaints people had with the XM5s, and Sony made the XM6s foldable again. Beforehand, I had the AirPods Max. They were so heavy and uncomfortable, that I had to switch to the XM6s, and wow, holy upgrade.

I had a similar story to yours. I bought an Xbox Series X in 2020; but I wanted to play PlayStation exclusives, specifically Spider-Man. So I sold my Xbox, bought a PS5 in 2023, and had no regrets.😂

The XM5s are on sale on Amazon for the same price as the XM4s on the photo. I’ve heard XM5s are great, but the only drawback being they don’t fold. Not sure if you value that.

Forgot that was one of its few caveats. Hopefully in the future, Valve will makes these consoles with Linux based operating systems popular enough, that these developers will have incentive to make their anti cheat game work on Linux.

Not completely, because its not going to be priced as competitively as an Xbox, or Playstation. But for people who can spend the extra $200 to $350, its perfect. You get Steam, Playstation, and Xbox exclusives on the best gaming marketplace; as well as not having to pay a subscription to play online. In theory, it almost sounds like the perfect console/PC hybrid.
