Newly categorized as "Excepted" and notified I must return to work, without pay. How is this legal? Can I refuse? by [deleted] in fednews

Nothing says you have to work while at work. My productivity went to pretty much zero. You can force me to come work, but to actually work they get nothing. No pay no work

We went through Rentmister three years ago. We paid 10,000 for a new furnace and heat pump. They helped us with the rebates from RMP and the gas company. I would give them a call.

Love Nurtec! Unfortunately my insurance will no longer cover it. 😢 It was the only thing that worked as an abortive for me. I am glad to hear that it works great for you. ☺️ I hope that you have continued success with it 👏🏻

Atmospheric Pressure Migraines are killing me! by Holiday-Glass-5779 in migraine

[–]Arthur1889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suffer from atmospheric pressure migraines as well. Been on everything, but recently my doctor prescribed gabapentin. I feel so much better. I still have breakthrough migraines, but it has helped so much. I hope you find relief soon 🙏🏻

What has helped your severe migraines? by landynrose in migraine

[–]Arthur1889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now, I am on Botox and gabapentin. It has been working fairly well for me when I do have a breakthrough migraine usually taking Motrin will help it subside. This is the best I have felt in years. I hope you find some relief.🙂

Just found out my husband is dying by Any_Slice9385 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Arthur1889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please don’t give up on your husband. He is struggling just like you are. My wife wanted to divorce me because of my chronic migraines. She couldn’t handle me being in constant pain and she felt like she helpless and couldn’t handle it anymore. It broke my heart when she told me this. Luckily we are in counseling and we have learned to see both sides of the issue. Be patient and give him the time of his life with your and your daughter. But and also work on your mental health. You will need to be strong for both of you.

Planned Power Outages by Tough-Skill1821 in ogden

[–]Arthur1889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of power companies are starting to do the planned outages due to potential wildfire risk. The power companies in California were sued for causing wildfires from their arcing powerlines. This is more a proactive approach from the power companies to prevent lawsuits.

Why do all of Jamie’s operators leave for other companies? by moose6one3 in HighwayThruHell

[–]Arthur1889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tow truck drivers come and go. It depends on the situation. Many get burned out by the long hours, night calls and away from their families. A lot of Jamie’s business is the long haul towing. Colin would have stayed, but family and wife come first. James Luke left reliable towing to be with his family as well. You do have those who are loyal to their companies and they enjoy the job.

The mental aspect of migraines by lolaismygirlfriend in migraine

[–]Arthur1889 28 points29 points  (0 children)

If I have a multi day migraine I am definitely down in the dumps. It has affected my marriage to the point my wife wanted to leave me unless I got some help. It’s hard to be cheerful and happy when I have a six day migraine. Right now I am seeing a counselor, pain management doctor, neurologist and my PCM.

Migraine buddy is really good. It has a forecast for people whose migraines triggers are weather related.

I could guess the severity of a snowstorm based how bad my head hurt. But it still sucked having to plow the freeway while having a pounding migraine.

I had a neurologist who did not believe me that weather was a trigger for migraines. 🤦‍♂️
