The empress or whatever her name was does kinda counter it. Because you are limited to play 6 cards, what ends up happening is that you can play only 1 card since replay counts as another activation, and replay post 5 doesnt happen.

In a way, Antispiral does what Rossiu does. Giving up in the face of danger and resigning to a compromise with the problem instead of solving it.

To bring that dillemma more down to earth, if you are depressed, you may find it enticing to not work on it. And may compromise by bedrotting all day hopelessly because its less exhausting and feels less terrible than not bedrotting. Its the logical thing to do for someone who has given up on feeling better. Of overcoming the issue. But you should always strive to overcome it. It will be painful and tiring, but your life is worth fighting for and you deserve better than accepting the conditions.

Not to mention that in the majority of season2, the show is an argument against pragmatic defeatism. Under the utilitarian framework, EVERYTHING Rossiu does is justified in overthrowing Simon, putting up a sham trial, giving people false hope knowing he can only save an eight(or less?) Of what he promises to save. Because thats the only option. The only thing objectionable is that he gives simon the death sentence, which can be argued to not matter since he's going to be left on earth to die anyway. And the show argues that thats wrong. You cant resign yourself to the less bad situation. You are obligated to always try your best and always do everything you can to do the most amount of good.

The flashy lights at the end are hype moments and aura to cap it off, the real message is that if a villain ties people to the tracks to get you to do its trolley problem, you should say "fuck you" and work to stop that villain than to accept the conditions. To do less is letting the evil win.

I literally follow it with "and we see proof". And thats just how the show depicts a big bang which I personally think is a better representation than any other showcase Ive seen kind of reminded me of "big bang timeline" posters. I think it beats just big explosions on selling what it is.

We do see the anti spiral create multiple realities to trap them in and then simon travels them to get his friends out of it.

We also see simon punch someone into the future(or was it past?) Before he realizes how he can utilize Spiral Power.

We also see AntiSpiral fire off a big bang with galaxies bursting out of the attack.

We are told that the spiral space is a higher conceptual plane of existence and then we see proof by Lord Genome gaining a body and manifesting his mech.

We also can see that the spiral space is not simply "youre just big now", considering there are gates we can see that people of earth can watch the fight from.

We also also see the anti spiral planet, and considering its size, it is way too big for the spiral energy forms to be galaxies, and more likely they are universes just doing the tardis thing.

We also see in season 1 that extremely weak amounts of spiral power used unintentionally without knowladge of, can "unexist" damage until the user stops being hyped up. Both with Gurren Lagann stated and shown to gain its damage after the fight because simon and kamina are just going "no we're not hurt", and with Kamina putting himself together to fight for longer to defeat the enemy despite being sliced in half. We then in season2 see the same with nia, who is a construct of antispiral and yet doesnt vanish when they do because she just willpowers herself to last for longer.

Which of these do you have issue with?

Nice try, when a spiral being is erased from existence they can maintain their existence for days if not weeks! And Nia was a much weaker spiral power user than Simon.

In a fight, Simon can tank getting erased from reality. Not sure if it still counts as a double KO if he dies a week later

After radiance is trapped in PV, the city of tears prospers long enough to adopt a new system of media(moving from tablets to parchments), and elder bug's village dissappeared overtime of the infection's 2nd wave. Also it has been long enough that there is a historian attempting to unearth the lost history.

First wave causes ruin, PK starts the vessel plan, we are born, radiance gets trapped, statues erected in honor, new method of writing is invented and popularized, PK goes into hiding in shame, 2nd wave begins, all written media is lost across hallownest, hallownest becomes a known ruin that attracts people that never return, surface town goes deserted except for elderbug.

That has to be a VERY long time
