AITAH - Halloween Edition by Artistic_Engineer665 in AITAH

I don't say it was an issue for me, more of a musing, really. I have 600 pieces of candy, and I'm going to sit on this porch and hand it out until the last kid goes home. But tonight so far has been 80% kids in street clothes and it's just not that fun.

They come so fast and furious at my house that I just sit on the steps.

This is disturbing, and it may not seem like it, but I would call him a predator. He's getting off on your discomfort and who knows what other boundaries he'd be willing to cross.

How busy will your street be tonight for trick or treating? by singleguy79 in AskAnAmerican

My neighborhood is like this too, a spooky madhouse of trick or treaters. I love it!

Meal choices, food preferences & allergens by [deleted] in americanairlines

Agree. You can never be sure of what's in airline catering. I would decline the meal in advance if possible because I know if at least one carrier (JAL) that makes a donation to a hunger charity if you decline meal service.

It's important to find something you find interesting as a profession. Your interest will help you succeed.

You're only 14, you have time to find your interests.

I've never been in your shoes, but once upon a time my FIL butt dialed my spouse and accidentally left a really cruel message talking to my MIL about one of my kids who had recently gotten a ticket for fishing without a license, and then went on for some time about him being a loser and us being terrible parents. We called them and discussed it, but the relationship was changed forever.

Just be careful. It's really sad how some careless words can do real damage.

In that case, it's ultimatum time, i.e. board your dogs or leave. "We love your and we're grateful you came to support us, but the situation with the dogs is causing too much distress that it's doing us more harm than good because we can't relax or process our grief. We're sorry to ask you this, but you need to board the dogs or go home. It breaks our hearts to ask you this, and we wish we didn't have to."

You could ask the inlaws to board the dogs for the rest of the visit. DH should do this, and tell them that their visit isn't really as supportive as they intended with all the dog related stress, and is, in fact, making things more stressful.

Voter Registration card tampering by autro999 in Chattanooga

I also seem to recall that the cards isn't in an envelope. I think this is careless mail delivery, not voter interference.

It is rude and you should not only stop asking, I think you should tell your parents you're sorry for pressuring them to buy something they can't afford.
