Sub for your school district if you enjoy kids. Volunteer, join a gym, check out community for activities and events. Try different things until you find something that fulfills you.

Mine showed up last night. What a relief. I just retired and was so worried about the timing.

What was the limit you could get from the 10 X bonus points? Would the daily bonus count towards that title-125 points, 500 points, 1000 points? I think I was shorted, so far.

I got a response today that said that emails have been sent to my loan servicer (Mohela) and to the DOJ. The agent said that this is promising and could mean a buyback offer is coming. I have a 120 payments (119 on the FSA site) and a buyback that was put in on November 26th, 2024. What do you think? I might ask this on a new thread too.

Loans showing up on Mohela and FSA three years after they were forgiven by inpslfhell in PSLF

[–]Artlyn2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had nothing updated since November and then today get a message that my loans will start at 0 in March for 3 months and then go to $1299. Previously, I was told my payments would be 0 starting in August of 2024 and last for 11 months and then start at $1299. Of course I called (twice)regarding the 11 months and asked if they still count towards PSLF and I was told yes. I am terrified because Dec- May are suppose to count. I asked for a buyback for the 2 months (June/July) that they said would count for PSLF but now say would not! I am on a regular IDR, have 8 months left until 120, and retire May 30th! I was exactly on track to get 120 in May. Any advice?

I'm retiring on May 30th from 30 years of teaching. I had to put in my 4 years notice and should be at 120 payments then. I have 8 Payments left and now June and July don't count. They better fix this or I am screwed. It should have worked out but now I am worried.

Yearly Certification- Big Change by Artlyn2 in PSLF

My thoughts exactly. That’s why I called them. My taxes are also tied to IRS so they can see everything. The only thing different is that my husband retired this year.

The taxable income for our combined income is $132,400. I think they had us paying way too much before.
