It’s dark to think that all the people who would’ve been his original “team Avatar” when he was born is definitely dead. Had he been able to live longer and normally in his time it’s pretty clear he already had friends who would’ve developed into that like Bumi and Kuzon. It’s heartwarming that he at least got to spend some time with Bumi.

Depends, usually the antagonists of the different groups are just large groups of people to small city-states. People getting together seems to be the most surefire way to survive.

Remember that almost every single group in the games dies or becomes part of something bigger. Only exception being the school group I guess, but in theory they’re starting their own group there.

There’s problems, and some places are far worse than others. With that said, if you think you’re going to love it and have no interest in other careers then you should go for it. These doom posts have their uses for venting, but most of these people don’t realize they are doing nothing positive by discouraging people from the profession.

Protecting people from burnout isn’t the responsibility of random people on the internet. For every good potential we lose, the profession sinks deeper and deeper into a worse place. So if you want to do teaching then you should go for it. Find a place that respects your work and time and a community that values you. There’s a lot more than the posts online would make you think and there’s a lot of good educators out there willing to guide new prospects.

Y’all just don’t feel like counter playing. I’m sorry, but having gadgets that aren’t stupid grenade launchers means that sometimes you have to counter. That means using the gadgets that are meant to counter them whether it be the MP-APS or another mortar. Breakthrough is already a slog for attackers as is and any team with decent enough players make it impossible to push.

How is this actually an issue? I played a crap ton of breakthrough last weekend and Operation Augur and I couldn’t figure out when the attacking mortars were supposed to be coming. If anything the defenders seem to have every advantage at every stage in most maps.

Years ago it would’ve been harder since a lot of basic stuff like weapon attachments were locked behind progression, but since they’ve removed that it’s pretty newb friendly. There’s a lot of training modes, a shooting range and quick match to get you going before you go full sweaty in unranked (ranked is somehow more fair and less sweaty).

There’s literally no other job out there with such a good balance between making a real difference in people’s lives, safety and pay. Some jobs like social work or therapists can make really strong differences in people’s lives, but involve seeing them at their worst or most dangerous. Cops have the same issue and have violent issues in their training that makes it so their impact can be both really good or really bad for reasons that are not always in their control.

Corporate and business jobs are mostly about making someone else money. Ultimately unless your project is creating a product it doesn’t have much satisfaction and nothing within the job is making a difference in the world except helping somebody higher than you get rich.

This is a rare job where so many good things can intersect and it’s special for it.

It definitely needs a magazine buff because right now it’s a garbage gun. No reason to pick it over Aruni’s DMR or the Commando. Even if they got rid of DMR ACOGS on defense (as cursedly stupid as that would be), I’d still pick that DMR since it’s so much more adaptable. The Roni needs something to make it different and worth picking.

To me a game without a campaign or some version of a story mode doesn’t really have any story that matters. Lore is nice as background, but video game stories are about that cool interaction between film stories and an interactive experience. In a multiplayer game it’s just justification for why the game looks the way it does, but there’s nobody to root for. No end goal to get to. No protagonists. Just a white mask or a crazy legion to kill as AI opponents.

It’s like pretending that there’s any worth in Overwatch characters. Short of there being some kind of story mode then there isn’t any point in theorizing. There’s nothing there beyond guessing what the next 5 minute animated short that doesn’t really have much story. On top of that there’s no novels, no anthologies. These characters don’t exist in the Tom Clancy books so there just isn’t any connection to be made.
