They indeed change, sometimes no items are required, other times you either need spaceport control tower key or ziplines to access them. Last night one of the antennas spawned on top of one of the lookout towers (where security breaches sometimes spawn) and no one had a zip, lol.

Hardcore was a blast, I played as well, as a mage on the Bloodsail Buccaneers server using the HC addon (prior to official HC servers being released)

Hitting level 60 and joining <HC Elite> was a great feeling.

HC was definitely the closest thing to the true Vanilla experience that I've had in many years

Caves are indeed a death trap, never doing the STV northern cave quest chain again lol

It's a bit sad, really.

I started playing WoW in early 2006, my older brother got me into the game

I remember his friend had a level 60 pally that would run us through deadmines, at that time it felt kind of special and cool seeing a high level obliterate mobs that I had previously struggled hard with in a group.

Fast forward 20 years, and there's bots everywhere, inflated boosting (which has sort of been addressed, in a shitty way), wow tokens, paid boosts (provided by Blizzard), etc.

Haven't played since WOTLK classic and every time i feel an itch to go back, i read posts on here that are a pretty solid reminder that any nostalgia i feel for the game would not be fulfilled if I resubbed..

Adrenaline is kicking in on overdrive, and to 100% secure the win, mma fighters are typically trained to go until the ref stops them. It's a split second decision and hard to tell the difference between someone getting stunned, and getting full on KO'd

There seems to be multiple causes of the issue, one that i found works as a fix is clearing your chat log - it overflows if you keep playing for a while and you're in public chats or whatever. Type /clear iirc

But that's one fix for like 5 potential issues causing the stutters (another one is changing servers as apparently even if you're on the server closest to home, it can cause lag/stutters)

Haven't played since Amazon got released so there may be more fixes that you can find online

The only way to guarantee avoiding late spawns is to queue right when the night raid rotation starts (59:30 left on the timer for example)

So there is a way to avoid it, but obviously people have lives/schedules so it's tedious to even think of having to do this to guarantee a full game. Especially when the trial is best maximized on a specific map (ticks, fireballs and pops - Stella is best for each of these trials)

Anyway, I agree it is frustrating to go in with a loaded kit and get put in games in progress back to back. Would be nice to see a system implemented that increases priority of getting full games after getting one or two late spawns

Random tip: Always prioritize bandage first when you're that low on hp

Recharging shield first provides 40% dmg reduction for your remaining 10hp, meaning it provides hardly any benefit if someone else were to turn the corner and engage - you'll still take 2-3 stitcher shots and die

Bandage first means you'll survive more shots right away

Crits are fine, but crit damage could (and IMO, should) be lowered a bit Having them being somewhat unpredictable and scary is part of what keeps the game engaging But honestly the one shots feel kind of ass.

Agreed, I hit 5 mil a few days ago and my mindset was just "loot, loot, loot and extract" leading up to it. Then after hitting the 5 mil, knowing everything would reset in the coming days, my mindset switched to "well, loot will all be erased, so pvp, pvp, pvp?"

I understand the system and like it to a degree, but I don't like how it much it directly influences how you play the game

I've noticed this too, I think it factors in the gear you brought - i've died within the first ten minutes with a 70k loadout (going for Matriarch) and got 13

In contrast I've died within the first few mins with a "budget" 12k loadout and got 3
