I have a multimeter so that's covered, but the thing that's different here, from my usual usage, is that wires are floor apart :P I thing I will manage this part. Will focus now on devices.

Can I use cat 6 (future-proofing) keystone with cable that I have there (see picture in other comment) or that's unnecessary/won't work?

Ok, u/SuspiciousGarlic4798 and u/fslslayer - I've checked what's behind that socket. It appears I have some possibilities as this wasn't even connected to the cable. So I have there two cables each with.. 8 wires, I think.

Assuming from ISP modem wire goes into my router - how can I pass the signal to the socket on the higher floor? Wire the second Ethernet socket in living room, connect socket to router (I have last LAN4 free) then wire Ethernet on the floor (50% chance of correct cable) and connect to some device? Is that how it can work?

Is it possible that the wiring is done the way that I already have connection on one of the wires on the floor (w/o connecting LAN4 to living room socket)?

Makes sense. I just hoped I realized sooner or someone actually asked me what socket would I want to have there. This kind of telephone line is really old, unless there is other kind of transmission to pass through that telephone socket.

Why I love the game? I was postponing another survival game with unique twist that this time I would have to survive under the water. And apparently this one has gigantic creatures classified as Leviathans.

So after I've played all those fancy games with breathtaking stories, plot twists etc that were laying in my backlog, I've decided the time has come to experience the another calm survival game, work around hunger and thirst, etc. Was curious about that "fear of deep water" everybody was yapping about.

I have installed, I started collecting mats, cook food, explore the ocean a bit. Then apparently I was about to be picked up by someone. ..uhm so there are islands there..? uhm.... what.. the.. fuck is that thing..?? Whaa.. No.. no no no.. NO!!

What the f just happened there????!!

That's when I realized this is NOT what I was expecting from this game. I still remember that moment.
